The cottage was just as advertised and the property was beautiful. Pia was an amazing host; she was very responsive and even gave us greens from her garden! There’s no cell service in the area so make sure you preload directions on your gps. We went on beautiful hikes, enjoyed the hot tub, and loved the isolation. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some time in the mountains.

Very cozy and clean cabin. We visited during rainy and wet weather, but still had a great time. Host was very helpful and responsive. Cabin was very private, and host provided lots of firsthand info about the local areas, as well as pamphlets about things to do nearby. Will absolutely stay here again, would recommend.

Cozy cottage in the Catskills

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is well off the beaten path and a wonderful jumping off point for exploring the Catskill Mountains.

The right amount of quiet

A great, quiet spot and an ideal place to get away as advertised. We stayed for a week and it proved to be an excellent spot to decompress. Beautiful surroundings and plenty (or nothing) to do in the area.

Wonderful little get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Very secluded and exactly as described. Fully equipped with everything you could ever need for a little romantic break and perfectly located to get to the surrounding towns in the Catskills. Very highly recommended !! We had such a relaxing vacation at the cottage! Pia and Mark are very responsive hosts who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. We loved the eclectic, arts-inspired decor, the wide range of books, as well as the raspberry & blueberry patch right outside! Whether relaxing on the front porch & watching the hummingbirds, or enjoying the 2-person hot tub out back, we found every moment perfect.

My wife and I are regular guests at this property and just can't say enough good things. The owners are lovely people who are so helpful and gracious, and the property is incredibly comfortable in cold and hot seasons, immaculately clean and maintained and under continual improvement. Its remote location is an incredible asset -- your neighbors will mostly be wildlife -- so it does mean a good deal of driving if you want to go out a lot, but good planning can ameliorate this issue (we plan around "town days" so we spend most of the day in a specific area, though we still wind up driving back a lot for cleaning up after hiking before going back out for dinner!). Andes is easy (20 minutes), and Margaretville/Arkville, Delhi, and Hamden are all about 30 minutes away. There's great food in these areas, and dining and drinking out is much cheaper than the Windham/Hunter/Tannersville and Shandaken/Phoenicia zones! Some great hikes nearby, including trails on the state land adjacent to the property (no driving necessary), plus easy access to the Pepacton Reservoir for fishing, boating, or just staring at the water or taking in sunrise/sunset on the Shavertown bridge (highly recommended).

Very nice!

Small and cozy, comfortable to just relax and get away. Nice and quiet with a beautiful entrance and yard. It was so clean and the hot tub was also so fun and relaxing. Overall a great experience

Peaceful retreat

Small, but perfectly formed! Lovely little cottage nestled in the woods, with great hikes nearby and very helpful and communicative hosts. If you are in the area highly recommend the baked goods (especially the morning buns) at Wilsons Bread, and also the goat milk yoghurts at Dirty Girl farm. Loved my stay here.

Beautiful and relaxing!

Absolutely beautiful house and property. The house was cozy and stocked with everything we needed. We did plenty of hiking during the day qnd explored the town of Andes - Wayside Cider and Dragonfly Cafe were highlights. Pia was a wonderful host and very helpful. Will be back!

Wonderful Place

Ended up having to cut our stay short due to power outage due to a storm, but this is such a great spot. We hope to come back again in the future. Clean, cozy, super comfortable bed, and overall one of the best cottage rentals I've ever found. Highly recommend. Plus the care that the host as put in to minimize discomfort in the event of a power outage is really appreciated!

Tremendous Property in the Catskills

Our host Pia was a great communicator, both in terms of customer service and laying out the expectations of our stay. The interior is even homier than it looks in the pictures, with plenty of space to cook and enjoy recreational activities. Other than the long distance proximity to gas and food (it’s the Catskills, so what can we expect 😆) everything was as pristine as it gets. Would highly recommend to anyone coming up for a weekend getaway from the city!
