Gorgeous mountain views! Less than two and a half hours from NYC, ten minutes from Belleayre Ski Center, this cozy and private cabin is perfect for a romantic couples retreat, two couples, a small family, or a group of friends looking for a relaxing and quiet escape. *Unlimited High-Speed Broadband Wifi Internet now provided*
We're just a short drive from Phoenicia, Woodstock, and Margaretville for shopping, dining and river tubing, and 140 miles from NYC (about 2 1/2 hours from the GW bridge), and we're just 1/2 mile from the NYC bus route, with buses leaving Port Authority several times a day. Plus, we get great cell phone service through Verizon, a rare thing in this part of the world. Fall foliage here is equal or better than anywhere in Vermont or New Hampshire. Shampoo, soap, lotions will be available on premise. Netflix account is set up and ready for your viewing pleasure!

A great cabin in a great location. Great views at the cabin! Cabin was clean as a whistle. Close to multiple hiking trails. We did the Fox Hollow trail and visited John Burroughs’ Catskill home at Woodchuck Lodge. Cabin is a short drive away from fantastic restaurants. Tito Bandito’s in Pine Hill 15 minutes away, highly recommended. Chappie’s in Roxbury 20 minutes away was very good also. Hope to return soon!

A truly lovely home in a beautiful corner of the Catskills. The property is impeccably maintained, and the interior is thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort and "homeiness." Both the front and back decks offer amazing views and were perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. We enjoyed the fire pit and plenty of seating. Inside, everything was spotless and fully stocked with towels, cozy blankets, and board games. The kitchen also had all the basic necessities for cooking, including coffee! It is the kind of place where it's incredibly easy to just stay inside all day, watching the sun move across the sky into the night.

We have stayed at this house before and as always was great! There is a nice view from either the back or the front of the house. It is very quiet and isolated. The house sits all by itself with no other houses in sight, but is only 15 - 20 minutes to the trail heads of Slide Mountain and The Giant ledge. The back deck has a grill and a nice table to sit and eat out. The house was totally clean.

Great Cabin

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was spotless, beautiful views. We enjoyed the area, taking a few field trips, or just relaxing on the property. We are a small family of four who was looking for a little escape from the city and we definitely found it. We realized it wasn't feasible to come up every single weekend and then decided it would be a good idea to allow others to experience this amazing space.

Why they chose this property

You can literally hang out inside this property all day. It has the be the coziest space ever. The best part is that you don't have too because there is so much to do... Local restaurants, a new distillery, hiking, biking, skiing, a small beach, its all minutes away.

What makes this property unique

We provide an incredibly clean space with a fully stocked kitchen. We leave a nice bottle of red wine for you to unwind. We leave shampoo, conditioner, lotion so you don't have too! This is our space so we aren't looking to "pimp" it out so the cabin will maintain its great look.
