Beautiful home but be prepared for the heat as there is no AC at all, and we ended up buying extra fans to get through it. Cleanliness from the housekeeper (also the property representative) was below average, and we were charged for extra services (like linen ironing) that we never requested. Lovely property overall, just make sure expectations on comfort and billing are clear beforehand.

Beautiful villa just minutes from the charming town of Pienza. It is an ideal location and perfect home base to visit Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Quirico d Orcia and countless world class wineries in the region. It is just a quick five minute drive to the famous Chapel Vitaleta, to catch amazing sunsets, as if the sunsets on the back patio were not already enough. Our contact at the property, Federica, was very accommodating and easy to coordinate with making for seamless arrival and departure. As an added bonus, she has a restaurant close by that could take us at the last minute the day we arrived. Fans in every room and the pool is a difference maker must if you are there in summer heat (no AC). The property is extremely well maintained. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, picturesque, well-located stay in the heart of Val d'Orcia region.
