In the heart of Santa Fe & Art Renaissance on Canyon Road…:
Welcome to a Historical Adobe home located in its own secluded and private tree-lined enclave at the end of a private driveway - yet only steps from the top restaurants and art galleries on Santa Fe's famous Canyon Road. Property is beautifully appointed with Vigas through out the house, with wood floors and rugs. I have also chosen the art in the home to reflect Santa Fe and all of its charm and history. The master bedroom features a gas Kiva fireplace and a king size bed; the bedroom furniture was made by a local craftsman. The guest bedroom which has a queen size bed and sitting area, is equally comfortable. The bathroom is accessible thru both the Master Bedroom and the hallway (Jack and Jill Bathroom). The kitchen is a chef's dream, it is fully equipped. The kitchen opens up into a sunny dining area, with a cozy corner table that will easily accommodate six people and a kitchen island that seats three. The living room area was designed and furnished for peace and tranquility. The house has Wi-Fi and two televisions (with cable). The home also has washer and dryer, Air Conditioning and Heat. Welcome to a mini-estate feeling in your huge, graveled back lot line with mature trees and a lovely rock-scape front yard. Recommended parking space is right outside the kitchen back door, although you essentially have your own massive parking lot. The private and secluded outdoor space includes a covered porch ("portal") under the shade of two large pine trees, a rock-scape garden, blooming flower pots, a glass table for 6 with umbrella and comfortable padded chairs plus a stainless steel bar barbecue grill. Your view outdoors includes the cottonwood trees lining the Santa Fe River and the charming adobe gallery building next door, plus the massive nicely graveled parking lot space that's all yours great for kids or pups to stretch out their feet in seclusion and privacy away from the street and tourist traffic. However, walk to the end of the driveway and find yourself looking at three restaurants (including the world-famous top 100 Geronimo's) and more beautiful galleries and shops than you can count! It's truly the best of both worlds and arguably one of the absolute best locations to stay in all of Santa Fe. 25th Annual Santa Fe Wine Festival -June 30 - July 1 Traditional Spanish Market - July 28 - 29th Indian Market - August 18 - 19th 95th Annual Burning of the Zozobra - August 31st Fiesta Fine Arts and Crafts Labor Day - September 1 & 3rd Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta in Santa Fe - September 26th - 29th International Balloon Fiesta - October 6 - 14th Fiesta De Santa Fe September 7th, 8th and 9th

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was comfy, cozy, well stocked with kitchen equipment and great location. Easy walking distance to the center of Santa Fe. Lovely location on Canyon Road. We’d stay here again!
Frank's home was lovely and inviting. It provided a cozy sanctuary to us after our long days out exploring the amazing attributes Santa Fe has to offer its visitors. A fully stocked kitchen, higher end appliances and fixtures, plus an amazingly curated collection of art and decor made for easy living at the end of each day. The home was conveniently located with plenty of walkability to galleries, cafes and sightseeing attractions. Frank, himself, was available and responsive as needed. We'll be back!
Our stay was just what we wanted--walkable to the art galleries and downtown Santa Fe. The home was lovely and represented the area very well. Parking was easy and very adequate. Frank is a very considerate and attentive owner.
We loved being right on Canyon Road. The Casita was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and above all, enjoyed the beautiful outside space, sitting out there with a drink and watching the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees visit the flowers. The hosts were great communicators and we appreciated their recommendations for bars, restaurants and galleries to visit.

A Perfect Escape!
This is my third time staying at this place, and it's been perfect every time. The adobe is cozy and charming, and is beautifully furnished. The location is fantastic for strolling down Canyon Road and looking in the various galleries, and is in walking distance to the Plaza. If you need a place to recharge your "batteries", this is it! Frank is a wonderful host and is always accessible and responsive, if questions do come up.
Such a delightful place to stay. This home has an authentic Southwestern vibe and the attention to details is extraordinary.
Frank was very attentive and always available for questions… which were few.
The kitchen is supplied with everything needed. The bedroom mattresses were great. Flowers everywhere around the front porch and back door.
A stellar find and I’ll be back!

Wonderful in every way!!
We stayed here 5 nights and didn't want to leave. What an extraordinary location and what a beautiful home. There wasn't one part of the house we didn't enjoy, including the front porch where we enjoyed a few rain showers. It's total privacy while simultaneously being surrounded by galleries, restaurants, shops, etc. We also walked to the plaza a few times a day too. Finally, Frank is one of the best hosts including meetings me a few days later to give me my tennis racquet I left behind. We loved it and we hope to be back many times.

Jerry, It was a pleasure meeting you and your guests. I hope our paths cross again. Frank
The house is as charming as it looks in the pictures. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. It is nicely furnished, and the beds are very comfortable and fitted with high quality linens. The place was absolutely quiet, especially at night when the shops and galleries are closed.
The location is perfect for exploring the galleries and shops along Canyon Road, and the house is a short and easy drive to anyplace one might want to visit in Santa Fe.
The ample off-street parking is a great feature for a property in the popular Canyon Road area. Reviews of other Santa Fe rentals often mention a need to coordinate parking arrangements with other tenants but this house has plenty of its own private parking.
Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. The owner is friendly and accommodating. This place is a good choice in Santa Fe.

Thanks Bart for the rave review. It’s greatly appreciated. I’ll look forward to seeing you again in the future.
we stayed 2 weeks at this charming remodeled home. great location on canyon road.
Owner was very easy to work with, fresh flowers and a newspaper every day. House was very clean and comfortable. Great kitchen with everything you would need. A true adobe style house in Santa Fe.
We loved staying at Frank’s gorgeous little home! It had everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was close enough for us to access the mountain for skiing and also accessible to all that Santa Fe has to offer. We had a very enjoyable stay and can’t wait to come back!
This was the perfect place for our Santa Fe experience! Cutest house, comfy beds, everything we needed—-and the location could not be any better. Can’t wait to go back!
This beautiful Canyon Road house is extremely well-appointed and could not be more convenient to everything we wanted to do. Frank and Gwen decorated for Christmas for us and even sent the candle lighters to light the many farolitos they set up in front of the house. We were met at the house upon arrival, given a tour and were told to contact Frank should we need anything. It was a splendid four nights! Thank you so much for such a memorable Christmas holiday!
Great place in a great neighborhood. The house is practically new, everything is clean. The kitchen is well appointed. Perfect place to relax. A second bath would have been nice, but otherwise perfect.
If you’d like to feel at home during a vacation this updated adobe is for you. Modern conveniences and southwestern charm. Beautiful rugs, artwork and landscaping. We loved it!
Beautiful, remodeled home with Santa Fe charm on Canyon Rd. Walk to restaurants and downtown. Quiet location. The owner, Frank, had information available for us to maximize our stay in Santa Fe- only regret- wish we stayed longer.
We had a wonderful time in this quaint little adobe house. It was close to the best restaurants and all of the galleries - easily walkable! Will definitely stay here again!

About the host
Hosted by Nicola Davis
I fell in love with Santa Fe in 2006, and made it my permanent home in 2007. I love to travel and found this to be the perfect place to return to.
Why they chose this property
This house is 100 years old, it was a hidden gem on Canyon Road. You can walk to amazing galleries and restaurants. A quick car ride and you could be skiing, hiking, or just enjoying our beautiful desert landscape or the mountains. There is a small river that runs behind Canyon Road, that is lined with old Aspens and assorted plants. Its a beautiful walk anytime of day.
What makes this property unique
