The town offers a good selection of shops and eateries, perfect for a relaxed stop after a day of exploring. Visitors interested in the area’s Saxon heritage will enjoy exploring the town museum and the atmospheric abbey ruins. You’ll find a village shop and pub in nearby Semley (2 miles), as well as an antiques centre. The village of Motcombe is 2.5 miles away and is another good stop for a pint of milk or a visit to the pub. Within 25 miles, you’ll also find a wealth of popular attractions, including Stonehenge, Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead House and Gardens, Haynes Motor Museum, and the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Bath.
A shared driveway leads to the property, which has an enclosed yard to the front. Adjacent to the owner’s home, yet with privacy assured, a private entrance door leads into this single storey property. Once inside you are met with a fantastic open-plan living space, with a vaulted ceiling, beams. The kitchen area, to your right, is equipped with an electric oven and hob, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. A central island and stools allow for sociable dining. In the handy utility you will find a washing machine, sink, and electric drying rack. You can relax in the comfortable lounge area with a wood burner and Smart TV. Leading into the hallway you will find the three bedrooms, two king-size bedrooms, one with en-suite rainfall shower room with WC and it's own dressing area, and a twin. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary bathroom with bath, separate rainfall shower, and WC.
Heading outside via patio doors from the open plan living area you will find an enclosed garden, with a patio, comfortable furniture, private hot tub and BBQ. Mostly laid to lawn, the garden is a great space for children to let off steam. Take a wander around and say hello to the horses, sheep, ducks and chickens that reside in the neighbouring fields. Sit back and unwind in the hot tub or take one of the walking trails leading off from the farm. To the front of the property is ample off-road parking.
