Stay in late September

The host was readily available and answered texts promptly. She even gave me a personal demonstration on how to lock and unlock the door. The apartment is gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. All my needs were met. The view from the windows is serene and I enjoyed watching the sailboats and ferries. The walk along the promenade was flat with plenty benches to sit and enjoy people watching, along with the view. I did have several rainy days but proper outerwear solves that. The only concern I had was that I didn’t realize how many hills are in Gourock, including where the house is located. So, if you are without a car, as I was, be sure to use Barrhill Rd, and do not chance walking up Hillside from the bus stop! Also, the apartment is not handicap accessible as there is a fairly steep sidewalk and multiple steps.
