Located under three miles from the lakeside spot of the Dorabelle Picnic spot you'll be able to fill your days with kayaking, fishing, and hiking through the tree-lined trails. When the snow starts to fall, make the quick 21-mile drive to the slopes at the China Peak Mountain Resort. Spend your days shredding the fresh powder, picking a snowball fight, and then warming up with a cup of hot cocoa at the cafe before heading home and parking in the four-car garage.

Connect to the free WiFi to find the perfect morning recipe to try out in the fully equipped kitchen. With plenty of seating, everyone will find a spot to enjoy their meal. Toss a load of laundry in the private washer/dryer and then take your cup of coffee out onto the deck to watch the trees sway in the breeze.

Family Christmas Weekend!

Our family of 10 stayed for 3 nights for a family Christmas get together and had a wonderful time! The cabin was very spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone! We loved the open floor plan so that we were always together when we were preparing meals and playing games! Everyone had a lot of fun upstairs in the game room with plenty of space for adults and kids to play, and sit and socialize altogether! The bedrooms were very spacious with plenty of bathrooms for everyone! The huge outside deck was a great addition along with the walking trail through the forest! The only suggestion we could say that would make this cabin really standout would be to repair the pool table felt that is all ripped up, the Air Hockey table has a hole in it and needs to be replaced. There is a large cabinet in the kitchen that has no face on it and needs to be repaired and the main bathroom has no handle for the shower. Overall, we felt these were minor compared to everything this cabin has to offer, so we still gave it 5 stars! We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin Trip

Overall, the property was nice and clean. Just some minor things on the floor. Beds were comfortable then most places we have stayed. One thing I will say is that a lot of the stuff in the kitchen were broken and not able to be used. Another thing is that the games including the pool table were ripped and broken. The furniture is old and I recommend that it gets updated for future stays. Furthermore, it was stated that the kitchen was fully stocked with spices but it was not. Finally, I would say the fire place was the best thing in the house! It was super warm and kept us nice and cozy.

Last year was better

There was a bit of a termite/burnt problem in the back porch bench area which ended up falling after being sat on, and the grill is broken in some of the gas lines made it difficult to cook but made the best of it. Missing blender cup, we ordered one on instacart and left it at the cabin for future stays. We enjoyed our stay but there needs to be lots of upgrades : grill, pool table, shuffleboard table needs more of the sand .

It’s ok

I believe the house has a lottt of potential, sadly, I found my stay a lot uncomfortable. The sofa sets are very outdated so it has a lot of wear and tear, kinda dirty. During the day, it was extremely hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work upstairs. The TV in the living room didn’t work. The place has a tone of potential, but for the amount of money I paid, I was expecting to be comfortable on my vacation. No AC is a no no for me at 80 degrees weather and small children.
