This is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo available and located in the Chesapeake Lofts building on the water in downtown Sandusky. The building is 5 yrs old. There is a total of 5 beds (1 king,4 full size beds plus the couch). The unit is 1300 square feet and is fully furnished with security entry doors and parking security gates. There is an on-site work-out room, pool and hot tub.


Cedar Point can be seen across the water and is only a few minutes ride by car. The location of the condo allows you to avoid most traffic going to Cedar Point. There are restaurants and bars withing walking distance from the unit. There are many events in downtown Sandusky throughout the summer that are also within walking distance.

The public boat launch is 1/4 mile away from the unit and is perfect for fishing or pleasure boating. There is a fish cleaning business located at the launch.

The Put-N-Bay ferry (Jet Express) is 100 feet away and is only a 30 minutes ride to downtown Put-N-Bay and all of the shopping and entertainment that comes with.

Location was excellent. Pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean. Hed a girls weekend and was a great experience. Only suggestion is that the kitchen could have been a little better stocked with kitchen supplies measuring cups and baking dishes....) and bedding on beds could have been a little more comfortable.

Our host was very friendly and addressed issues quickly. We stayed for a week. The condo was spacious and very clean. It was a great location, and close to many fun attractions. The area felt safe and secure. The pool area was also nice. Overall, it was pretty good quality for the price. The master bed was very comfortable but the other two rooms had beds that were low quality and uncomfortable. The condo also seemed slightly damp - our bath towels never fully dried. The fridge was missing crisper drawers and a retaining bar for the items in the door. I understand that mayfly season is a problem by Lake Erie but the patio was also covered in dead bugs and not pleasant to use.

Great Place!

We had a great stay during our trip to Cedar Point! Todd was fantastic, super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The place was spacious, clean, and the perfect spot to relax after a long day at the park. The location felt safe and had plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall experience was good, condo amenities were as described in listing. Gated community was very secure. Nice outdoor pool/hot tub. Kitchen nicely equipped and in decent working order. Living room furnishings and carpet could use a “refresh”. Owner,Todd, was very responsive, and also was attentive to our special check in/out requests.

After receiving feedback from cleaning. Would not ever rent to this guest moving forward. They had thrown up all over and attempted to clean with towels and then thrown the nasty towels into the closet. It’s very disrespectful to do to someone property and not address the issue yourself

Why they chose this property

We purchased our unit because it was an old building they rehabbed and its location is just down the street so we can go there and enjoy being on the water whenever we choose.

What makes this property unique

The building has character and was well preserved when they turned the building into luxury condominiums.The building is located right on lake Erie but does has an awesome pool and is located downtown where there are no hotels and traffic just an old city feel.It is very close to cedar Point and you do not have to be in a traffic jam for an hour getting there from our location.There are plenty of parks walking distance to cook out,play with the kids or even fish.You do have plenty of choices for eating out and many with a view of the lake.
