Brand new! Just designed and furnished in stunning coastal style, our Mediterranean inspired villa at 1925 Villa Lago offers it all - impressive views of the Baytowne Golf Course and an unsurpassed location steps from the swimming pool. With upgrades such as hardwood and travertine floors, 10’ ceilings, crown moulding and granite countertops, this property is truly a “dream beach vacation home”! The home is professionally designed with comfort in mind while offering the finest finishes and furnishings. There are two golf carts included – so plan to spin around and explore the resort at your leisure. The sugar white beach is a short golf cart ride away. You can also hop on the complimentary tram to the beach. Most enjoyable is an impeccable view of the Baytowne Golf Course from the covered back patio. With comfortable outdoor seating, there is no better place to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting!

Our living area is relaxing and comfortable with plenty of seating for everyone and a 65" HDTV with cable channels. The sunny dining area offers seating for eight guests and additional kitchen bar seating for four. With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and designed to delight the most discriminating chef! There is an outdoor propane grill for an afternoon bbq snack. A guest bedroom with a queen bed is conveniently located on the main level along with a full guest bathroom.

Upstairs you will find the master bedroom and two additional guest bedrooms. Our master bedroom suite features a king bed, an HDTV, generous closet space with built-ins, and access to a private master balcony overlooking the golf course. The adjoining master bathroom is truly a retreat, and is tastefully designed with stone finishes, a soaking bathtub, and a separate shower. There is a guest bedroom with a king bed, an HDTV, a walk in closet, and an adjoining guest bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination. A third bedroom features a custom built bunk bed (full over full) plus a twin trundle bed, plenty of closet space, an HDTV, and an adjoining guest bathroom. The upstairs laundry room provides a full washer and dryer. There is driveway parking space available for two cars. The two golf carts are to be parked in the garage for charging. If you are bringing more than two cars, there is parking for additional vehicles in the resort overflow parking lot.

Villa Lago is the latest addition to the Resort, and is situated alongside the newly renovated Baytowne Golf Course and .5 mile away from the Village at Baytowne Wharf. Our home at 1925 Villa Lago is the perfect spot for your vacation. Plan to stay awhile – you will not want to leave!

We have stayed in this neighborhood before. We love the location. Having two golf carts was great for when our group wanted to go separate ways. Walking distance to Baytowne wharf! Everything was clean, the beds were so comfortable. It was an all around great stay! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful home to spend quality time with the family! The decor was right out of a design magazine. The location was ideal for access to bike riding and long walks. The teenagers loved the two golf carts!!! We definitely will be back!

Wonderful Place to Stay

The house was truly one of the best highlights of our trip! We chose it over others partly because of the ample seating in the living room, and around the dining room table, for our group to gather and hang out. The space just couldn’t have been any better. Everything was clean and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed. The golf carts were the icing on the cake! It was so fun to be able to just hop in the carts and go, to Baytown or to the beach. We simply LOVED our stay in this house.

The location & amenities were outstanding! The only minuses would be we had some trouble getting our actual property address in advance & had to call on that and the other downfall was the dining space Chairs had slipcovers and we’re absolutely dirty & stained … the rest of the house was beautiful & comfortable and we would request that house again when we return another time.. kitchen was stocked well, everything worked…. A larger golf cart would have been great for our group but the two 4-seaters were great to have…

House was fine for our short stay. We had electrical and garage issues but quickly fixed.

The garage would not shut properly and I had to adjust the sensors and it worked. Having two golf carts was very nice and they performed perfectly. We had an electrical issue (bathroom lights would not work), the management team was highly responsive in repairing. The location was perfect and the house was as advertised,

Birthday Vacation

The house was spacious and had the perfect amount of space for our family. The property management was very responsive and helpful. Three of the rooms having the bathroom inside the bedrooms was also a plus. One of the golf carts did not work for the entire stay we were there, and we received a parking violation from the HOA for a vehicle having about 6 inches of the tire on the pine straw. Once the golf cart is fixed I would recommend the property, but make sure you follow the HOA Rules or they will fine you which seemed to be a way of taking it to visitors in the neighborhood.

Love the property and location. Love the decor. Two golf carts was a plus and very convenient. We were appreciative the washer and dryer was upstairs. The water is not hot enough for the upstairs Master Bedroom tub. So, it was nice but not functional. Also, the dishwasher leaked water. It felt like maybe we were the first rental since last summer. I would rent it again, but I would address those issues first.

It's the small things that set a property apart

It is an okay place to stay, but I have stayed at many properties in Sandestin, and this one is at the bottom of my list. The garage had trash and sticky waste on the garage floor from the trash One golf cart was very slow. The air condition vent in the family room leaks water; the locks on the front and back doors must be shelved to open. TV has cable boxes hanging over the top, and the TV shuts off in some rooms. The parking area is small.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good things : Nice location next to the wharf. Plenty of room for eight people. The not so nice things : Two rolls of toilet paper for four bathrooms, one garbage bag and no roll towels for the kitchen. Be prepared to go shopping for basics. For a high end property it should be better supplied. Heat didn’t work upstairs the first night but they did fix it the next day. One of the golf carts would not hold a charge for more than three miles so we had to be careful not to venture to far from the house. Word to the wise . If you find this property through Vrbo you pay them a booking fee along with the fees Beach Blue charges .

We have stayed in this neighborhood 6 times so far. First time at this residence. The house was good, clean and true to the pictures. Location is great because it’s at the front of the neighborhood and right across the street from the pool. It’s backyard also backs up to the golf course which we love !However, there are a few things I did not love. Yes this house comes with two golf carts…. They are SLOW! Like 14mph SLOW. Like you have to pull over and let other golf carts pass you SLOW. That was super frustrating. The battery life on them is horrible as well. One cruise around the resort and the battery life drops to 50%. Also this house has NO beach towels or chairs to use. Many of the other houses I’ve stayed at in this neighborhood have beach towels and chairs and sand toys for my kids. So we were left to buy towels at Publix for 20 a pop, because I’m not packing towels from home and bringing them. I am not sure I would stay here again just because I have stayed in others that have faster golf carts that hold their charge, and have towels and chairs for the beach. Beautiful home though!

Not what we expected

We paid a lot to stay at this property for our summer family vacation. The home ended being really outdated and not as clean as I expected. The televisions in the rooms kept having issues with the internet. The doors were hard to lock and the upstairs balcony door locked backwards, locking my daughter out on the balcony for over an hour when we were not there. The largest issue were the golf carts. This was one of the main amenities we were excited about for this property. The gift carts were older and gave us so many problems. I was so embarrassed for my family when we had to continuously turn the golf cart around to go back to the property because ii was going so slow and bouncing on us. I was extremely disappointed in this property.

Beds where made everything was in its place but it was incredibly dusty we found trash behind the sofa cushions (because sofa felt so sandy we had the need to shake it out and that’s how we found the chip bag) there was literally a hair ball on the floor. And of course the golf carts one was not available to us. (It does state that in their contract that it can happen no big deal but we have yet to get what They said they would return per day of not having the cart) The place is very nice and the pool was just crossing the street I mean it was a great location but it’s a hug en bummer that you are not getting what you are paying for....So no I would not book with them again.

Golf Carts do NOT work

The house was fine and as advertised...I would echo what I read from other visitors, that the covers on the furniture and kitchen chairs need to be WASHED or Replaced...they have stains/spills on them and need attention. Nice chairs and boogie boards for beach in garage. It seems the electrical panel in this house can not handle the load....master bath lights tripped the breaker...every morning the garage breaker was tripped. We believe the 2 golf carts charging in the garage are too much for the electrical available, and it trips the breaker as this happened EVERY Night. So we are assuming the Golf Carts never got a good charge. Speaking of that, the Big Problem was the Golf Carts. They left us stranded more than once...both of them. We had to leave one in a parking lot on the property and get picked up by someone else....called the property management and told them we left it there. They are pretty old and it seems there's not enough electrical power to charge them in that garage. Sandestin resort is awesome and we all had a good time...but for sure there are issues that need to be addressed as we do not feel we got the value we expected for what we paid

Beautiful home, perfect condition, great stay

We have never rented a home before from VRBO or any other rental agency so were somewhat apprehensive about what to expect. You never know if the advertised photos of a home show the actual condition of the home (there are many bad reviews about properties). We were already familiar with Villa Lago since we have been owners at Sandestin for years (did not rent home out) and just sold our house this fall. We will continue to return to Sandestin while we look for another property so it was a good time to try out the property rental experience. We rented the house for a few days after Christmas through the first week of January. The house was impeccably clean, well-maintained, the furniture and decor was new or like-new, towels and bedding all new and clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and stocked with a high end brand of plates and glasses - just what I would have if it were my own home. The back windows of the house overlooked the the golf course (and not the back of another house) which was very nice and pretty. Villa Lago is a great location to get to the beach, Baytowne, and Grand Blvd so were were happy with our choice to rent at Villa Lago. Having the 2 golf carts was a fun, added bonus to get around the resort. All in all we had a great stay at 1925 Villa Lago and not once did we feel we were in a "rental" property and we appreciated that. We would rent this house again! We highly recommend Beach Blue rental management and would rent any property they manage after this good experience. The few questions we had before we signed the contact, all were answered by email and prompt phone call and that says a lot about the company. Thank you Beach Blue!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived the unit's thermostat for the A/C was set so high that it was 90 degrees on the second floor and 84 on the lower level. Beach Blue did work with us and had a tech come out to double check the units. It took over 8 hours for the unit's temperatures to get livable. Our suggestion would be to program the thermostats at a more reasonable temperature setting.
