The house was well appointed and had plenty of space for four people. Ample privacy as the bedrooms/bathrooms were at were at opposite sides. Great conveniences such as washer and dryer. A car is a necessity if you stay here as it in the countryside, but the area is quiet and peaceful. Everybody we encountered in the local community was friendly. We would suggest a toaster in the kitchen, but with all dishes, pots/pans provided it was a minor inconvenience.
Our only complaint was the fact we had no hot water for showers, but the owner was trying to troubleshoot with us and the contractor to repair the problem. There was hot water in kitchen.
We would definitely stay here again, and the owner was very communicative and approachable. Great visit to Trinidad!

Why they chose this property
My father and his brothers built this home on family land. All of our neighbors are related.
For a price (USD), if you would like a homemade Trinbagonian dish please let us know so that I can have one of my family members make you a meal and they will bring it to you. Your next door neighbor makes delicious curry and bakes as pone. My aunt, a couple of houses down, makes sucker bags which are always ready and delicious polourie. Please let us know what you want and we will get the price for you.
What makes this property unique
There are two coconut trees in the front yard which you are free to pick and cocoa trees in the back. The neighborhood is also away from all the city noise and you can see the stars clearly at night.
