This property was very clean and nice. The extra bunk beds upstairs were a huge hit with the kids. Location is nice and it’s easy to get to everything. Highly recommended!

Everything was great, from the communication and response time to the location and amazing house. The 2 parking spaces were very small, we had to carefully park each car. The Waterpark in the advertisement was not as close as I assumed based on the ad, it was quite a car drive away. But everything else was terific, couldn't have asked for better.

Beautiful home awful experience with Have Vacation Memories

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was perfectly lovely. Beautifully cleaned and well stocked for visitor’s needs and comfort. When we arrived after dark there were no lights on and the code given to us by the rental agent did not work. After several attempts juggling between flashlight and key pad I had to find the rental agents number to call for help. She issued another code and we finally got in, but that was just one example of the booking agent’s insufficiency! In order to us the older, free with rental, 4 seater golf cart after a 6 hour drive when all we wanted was our dinner and quiet time, we had to have a visitor come and “teach”us how to drive the cart and give us the key. The key and instructions could have been left on the island or kitchen counter with their rule book. The add on VBRO shows two golf carts in the driveway (which makes parking 2 cars difficult). Only the old 4-seater one is free! The six-seater which is nicer goes for $60 more dollars A Day! It was not moved when we decided not to fall into that trap. What a cheap trick! Then when we went outside the next afternoon the backyard was flooded. It took about 3 hours for the problem to be found and till the next morning for it to be fixed. Also from the first contact with the booking agent we had a terrible problem and I still don’t know how it happened. In the past when I booked with VRBO you could use the “messages” part of the app or homepage to communicate with the owner or booking agent. This time I used it to confirm that I wanted to book our holiday and have whomever my email so that they could get back to me with the booking details. When, after a great while I got the message that we were going to loose our reservation. These people did not contact me through the email I sent them. Somehow they got an email I NEVER use and had been trying to contact me there! When I found that and corrected them and secured our reservation they never stopped using that wrong em

Unfortunately, you are mixing up VRBO and HaveTravel as your booking agent. You booked through VRBO and that is where your e-mail address was entered. So we did not receive your messages. When I contacted you regarding your multiple declined credit card payments you requested through us at that time to change your e-mail address, which we did. Our listing clearly states the info about the golf carts, "This property comes with a 4 person golf cart. You can upgrade to a 6 passenger cart or you can upgrade and get both the 4 and 6 passenger cart! " We do not leave the golf cart keys for the safety of our guests and owners! (our paperwork clearly states this). We wish you the best in the future. Thanks, Jalayne

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Laurel Grove area of Sandestin. This was our second stay in this lovely home. The home was very clean inside & out. The sofas & beds are very comfortable, there are plenty of linens & the kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware. The property is well maintained & managed. Have Travel Memories does a great job & was very responsive to questions. The use of the golf carts is a nice bonus! The property is conveniently located very close to the pool, the golf courses & all that Sandestin has to offer. We enjoyed getting ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s. There is a basketball court & mini golf course near the beach. We love eating at The Donut Hole nearby on highway 98 & enjoyed the restaurants in Baytowne Wharf as well. Thank you! We had a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful place to vacation

We loved this house! My family (me, husband, our son & my mother) spent 5 days over Christmas at this property and loved every minute of it. The house was well stocked, the bedrooms were large and the living room had enough furniture for all of us to gather and be comfy. There was a large coffee table (for boardgames) and a huge kitchen table for meals (and puzzels). The back porch was a great place to relax and had great furniture. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our teenager--it had 3 sets of bunk beds and a full bathroom and lots of floor space. We rented two golfcarts so getting around was a lot of fun--the house was just as close to Publix & Emerils as it was to the Wharf. We will book this property again!!!
