Schaefer Adventures is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home on a level lot conveniently located at the 34.5mm, off 5-53, near Pirate's Point and Captain Ron's. This newer home is perfect for big families and reunions, sleeping 9 in beds, with a large kitchen, island and open concept living and dining. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and view the lake through a wall of windows or lounge on the large deck and view the sunset every evening. Bring your boats with you at no extra charge! There is a two well dock, 22’ and 28’, with v-haul boat lift for a 28' boat. Plenty of room on the swim deck for sunning, and swimming with a new Wet Step ladder for hours of fun at the shoreline. Kayaks and water toys on site as well. The new stamped concrete patio has a BBQ gas grill and a griddle grill with seating for your morning coffee and evening meals. There is a along with outside dining table, and a propane firepit with lots of seating. Each bedroom has TV with Hulu activated along with a large Smart TV in the living room and wifi.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
The night before, wash and dry the towels you have used. You can still use towels. Extra laundry is reason for extra fees.
Text or call 314-313-9835 when you leave so we may send the cleaning crew upon your departure.
Be sure to leave all the keys on the coat rack.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest is required to sign a Renter Agreement. Security Deposit Required of up to $300. Minimum age to rent is 24.
Renter Agreement must be signed within 24 hours after booking. For last-minute reservations, agrmnt must be signed before check-in info will be sent.

We enjoyed our stay. We used the Lilly pad, kayaks, and the dock quite a lot. We also rented two waverunners from Pirate’s Point nearby. The house was fully stocked with everything and fit our needs well, especially being able to bring our sweet dog with us.

The Schaefers have anticipated what families need on vacation because they have family come stay with them too. Feel free to send us your packing list ahead of time so we can save you space in your car. With pre-approval, Schaefer Adventures is pet friendly with a $50/per pet fee. This fee helps cover the extra insurance with having pets and we also provide food/water bowls, and a special treat for your four legged family member. The shoreline is a gradual exit for pets if they like to swim. Come back and see us anytime of the year!

Weekend at the ozarks!

We had a great time! The place was clean and nice to accommodate our fur babies and kids. Close to restaurants and shopping and the cove was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend!

It seems the access ramp under Hurricane Deck was convenient to the house’s location as well and we were happy to meet you and your party at the house and assist where needed. This place was awesome. We have never seen a place so well stocked with things. This place was very clean , and had comfy beds. It was just as if you were home. Manager was very nice , and helpful.

Thank you for your review and glad you were able to bring your own boat to watch the Shootout. Schaefer Adventures is located at the Shootout finish line in a no wake cove. There is a 6000# lift for a Vhaul 30ft boat as well as a slip for a pontoon or second boat.

Family fun!

We had a great time! The house was clean and nice. The kids loved all the lakeside amenities- we used the canoe, kayaks, and the lily pad. We went fishing as well and caught fish right from the dock! Wonderful vacation!

The managers went above & beyond to put all the little extras in place. The location was close to everything as we traveled & explored the area. Plenty of space for our three teenagers & 2 dogs. We enjoyed the fire ring, grills, dock, kayaks & canoe. A little get away from home with all the extras!

This was very clean and very well stocked with all one might need. Fun gift bags provided for guests and even a gift bag for my spoiled grand dog. We were lucky to have perfect weather and even got to use the kayaks. Really relaxing.

Great Spot on the Lake!

We love staying in this home when we vacation in the Lake of the Ozarks. It is situated in a quiet cove, which we appreciate. Love using the kayaks they provide and the large lilly pad to float on. There is a great area to wade in the water that's close to the dock. The home is comfortable with everything you need for a great vacation. Also appreciate having the use of a flattop grill along with a regular grill. The owners are the best -- with making sure we have what we need, so we can have the best vacation!

Great stay at a great location.

Our family and pets had an amazing stay. This place has everything, kayaks, swim mats, a canoe. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Plenty of space for our family of 7. Easy access to the main channel and close to a boat and wave runner rental spot. The nice quiet cove made it great for our younger kiddos to get lots of swim time without worrying about boats coming too close. Quick, reliable responses to any questions we had by the property manager. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great rental!

Home has everything for the stay including dog dishes, it is well-maintained and decorated. The only thing we needed was deicer for driveway (stayed during winter). Our dog was comfortable inside the house but we were cautious outside with her on the leash all the time as there are other dogs around. This is a great place to stay especially if you have a boat and/or paddle. We enjoyed our stay!
