We understand your frustration, and unfortunately the lower water levels you experienced are part of Lake Martin’s normal offseason drawdown, which happens every year starting around October/November and affects the entire lake, not just our location. During this time, rates are significantly reduced to reflect the lower lake levels. Water levels typically begin rising again in February/March and return to full summer pool by late April or early May. We’d love to welcome you back during the spring or summer when the lake is full and at its best!

Marti, I just got your review from your stay. It’s been about a month and I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced but I am wondering if you have us confused with a different property. The property to the right of us is a 2 story new build that our neighbors have built in the past couple of years. We have updated to new furniture since the pictures as renters wore down the older ones but it was to updated chairs and a new couch. Definitely not plastic? We have had several tenants since your stay and haven’t had anyone report that glasses and utensils are missing but we will absolutely look into all of this. We do appreciate you choosing our cabin and any of this that can be corrected we absolutely will.
