Timberline Haus is a stunning modern home overlooking Barker Reservoir.  This home is just a quick 15-minute drive from Eldora Ski Resort and is optimally located to enjoy first-tracks on the slopes before the mid-morning rush. After enjoying a day in the mountains, stop on by and experience the local fun in downtown Nederland. NOTE: Home has beds to accommodate 10 people, but occupancy is limited to 6 per Boulder County.
The dirt road to the home can be challenging, especially in winter. Please consider 4x4 or at least All Wheel Drive. When you first pull up to this home, you will notice its nothing like any of the other properties around! You will be able to park your car in the garage and head right into this beautiful home.  There is free wifi throughout the home.  When you first walk in from the garage you will be in the "mud room" and that's where the washer and dryer are which you have access to during your stay.  You will probably notice all the floors are concrete and heated, neat!  Once you get into the house you will be swept away by the views overlooking the Barker Reservoir, and how open the floor plan is with the kitchen and living room.  Step outside to the huge deck where you can enjoy a nice BBQ dinner while hanging by the fire pit with the family.  Please note: It is difficult to darken the living room for daytime TV or movie viewing. There is a flat screen in the bunk room for better day viewing but not a lot of seating.
The master bedroom is on the main floor and is filled with ceiling to floor windows overlooking the reservoir. Don't worry, we have black out curtains for when you need a nap after skiing or hiking all day.  There is a master bathroom attached to the master bedroom and a huge closet!   Working your way downstairs is where you will find 2 more bedrooms, and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and an attached bathroom and the other bedroom has 2 big bunkbeds where you can send the kids to play.  Stepping outside from the downstairs you will find a covered back deck with a hot tub. The views while sitting in the hot tub are just spectacular and a great way to finish up your day in the mountains! Boulder County License: VR-21-0002

Simply an amazing place to stay and visit. Nederland itself is such a cool small town with a lot of very friendly people. The views from the property are just stunning. We lucked out with some amazing sunsets and even some distant thunderstorms that were a real treat to watch passing over the mountains. Highly recommend this place and is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed!

Gorgeous views, close proximity to Nederland, Boulder, and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Moonshine on the water, sunrise on the surrounding mountains. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location.

Loved staying here! The town is adorable, close enough drive to everything we wanted to see (Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder, Denver, Red Rocks). The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Wish I was still on the deck enjoying the view!

Wonderful home with spectacular views

I traveled to Colorado with my wife and four children. We did lots of hiking, skiing and plenty of relaxing. Especially liked watching the sunsets and seeing a Moose in the yard!

an ideal retreat space

We booked the Timberline Haus for a small artist retreat, and it turned out to be the ideal location! The terrace is perfect for morning coffee and writing. Every indoor space receives ample natural light that is conducive to creative practices. The options for hiking are ample and conveniently nearby. We look forward to staying again :)

This home is spectacular! Stunning views of the lake, Nederland and front range. The home is well set up with plenty of space and excellent amenities. Only 30 minutes to Boulder. Additionally, can access hiking in 20 minutes. Would love to stay again.

Stunning views and exceptional service

We had a fantastic stay during spring break. About 5 min to Nederland, 25 min from Boulder and 15 min from Eldora, you’re not far from anything. The house is stunning and so comfortable. We had great communication with SkyRun, the managers and they were available to answer all questions. Loved the hot tub after skiing! 10/10 would book again.

Amazing property

Every time i stay at a hotel or i rent any property i think that next time at this area I'll stay at a different place just to try something new. This house is so excellent that i want to stay only here if i happen to travel to Colorado again. Floor plan, design, location exceeded our expectations. We were only sad when we were leaving it.

the best trip ever

We absolutely loved our time at this property. It’s exactly as described, even more beautiful in person. The views were breathtaking. We had a slight issue checking in (code wasn’t working) but the property management team was great and extremely responsive and got us in right away! I highly recommend this property. There is so much to do within the property and it’s a close drive to the downtown area that was very quaint and exactly what we were looking for. If we are back in the area, we would want to stay at this property again!
