Enjoy great conversation on the huge front porch or more cozy back courtyard. Keep the kids and adults happy with the large 20x40 pool (in season), basketball, Pool table, Ping Pong, Darts, Cornhole and more.

Walk to the heart of Suwanee Town Center with all its shopping, arts, greenspace and entertainment.

Find the following within a 5 - 15 minute drive. Mall of Georgia, Main Event, Infinite Energy Center, Lake Lanier, and much more.

The home is over160 years old!! 1873 is the original building date, and we have tried to maintain some of the original features as well as accentuate the add-on's generated from the dreams of owners before us. This historic property is set under large oak and magnolia trees within walking distance or less then 3 min to heart of Suwanee Town Center, the Suwanee Greenway, Suwanee Main Street, Public library, shopping, great food, spirits, and much more.

The front bedroom features 1 king, second bedroom has 1 queen size bed plus 1 twin, third room with one queen bed… And an upstairs loft area that can be made available as needed.

If you love to grill the rear brick paved courtyard features a large gas grill in addition to a 4 top table. The courtyard transitions nicely into the pool house with pallet bar and sitting for 4-6 and over looks the pool table and dart board. The pool area also features an outdoor fire pit for relaxing.

Enjoy outdoor activities like corn hole, 1/2 court basketball court, and your own 20 x 40 in ground pool. No life guard is ever on duty so you must watch the babies, kids and those that cannot swim!! For additional sitting you can find 10 plus chairs and another patio table around the pool.

Absolutely no glass is allowed in the back yard for drinking purposes. CANS only.

We are a dog friendly house and yard as the back yard and POOL is fenced.

This home has been a labor of love and is a great place to hang out and relax. We hope you will think so too.

For safety, no glass allowed around Pool area. Weather can affect pool appearance at times. Water levels must stay above min marking.
Additional parking 200ft from home with easy access off of Buford Hwy (over 4 cars) is provided by John Terrafella, State Farm Suwanee: -$150/day
Trash pickup is Wednesday, Pool service is Tuesday morning between 10-12, and Lawn service is on rotation but typically a Tues or Wednesday.

Golden Girls Reunion 2.0

8 "girlfriends" from EHHS '79 reuniting by the pool and reminiscing about our youth! We stayed here last summer and couldn't wait to do it again this year. PERFECT vacation area with so much to do just blocks away from this beautiful home. I could not recommend a better place to stay.

Easter in Suwanee

We had a lovely Easter weekend at the King Street retreat. The kitchen was well equipped, and the grill was the perfect size. Since the weather was so nice, we actually set up an extra table on the front porch and had our dinner out there. The beds were super comfortable and there were several spaces to just hang out as a group and socialize. The host was very helpful whenever we had a question. We would come back again with our friends!

Golden Girls High-school reunion

We absolutely loved our time at the King Street Retreat. The home was beautiful, great kitchen and bedrooms. The pool is amazing, as is the front porch, great for meals, card games and just relaxing. This community is great for walking and restaurants. There is plenty of entertainment for adults and children all within walking distance.

The property is an older house that has character galore. Our son, his wife, 2 kuds, and their dog stayed with the wife and myself. We cooked a Thanksgiving feast and had plenty of room to include my daughter, her husband and daughter, as well as my father.Greattime had by all.

Great house

Had my mother, brother and his girlfriend coming in for my daughter’s engagement party. They loved the house and the location within walking distance of Suwanee town center. The bedrooms and bathrooms were incredible along with the decorations and amenities of the house were great.

Perfect Property for us

My husband and I with our daughter and grandson visited our sons and their families in Suwanee. Due to a newborn grandbaby, we were looking for a place we could gather as a family and make it easier for the new parents. This home suited us perfectly. We wanted a pool to enjoy and this space was perfect. Our son and his family (with the newborn) lives a couple of minutes away so the location was perfect. We love historic homes and the owners kept that charm throughout the house. The owners were very responsive with communication. We would recommend this property highly.

Nice stay

The house was very comfortable. We rented it for the two of us to stay and hosted our family (kids, grands, greats who live in GA) for an afternoon at the pool. We’re thankful that the weather was perfect because you couldn’t host more than a few people inside the house. There isn’t a dining room or anywhere more than 6 people could eat together. The mattress in the “master” bedroom is very firm, so we wound up sleeping in the other bedrooms. The owners were easy to work with and the house/pool were in a great location. We’re very happy with the choice to rent here.

Unique property

We enjoyed the time we had at this home.. the owners were very responsive every time we needed something. The beds were comfortable. The furnishings were eclectic and interesting. The outside front porch was our COVID go to place, even though the temperatures dipped into the high 30’s at night. If you only like new, modern accommodations, this place is not for you, but it suited us quite well. The room configurations were slightly different than what was shown in VRBO. The third bedroom had a queen bed and a twin trundle. I didn’t go upstairs but was told there was a twin trundle up there. My granddaughters loved the upstairs, but the steps were a little too steep for me. Great place to relax. We would book again.

Eclectic old house

Pros and some cons, but overall a nice stay. Very cute, interesting, and eclectic older home. I’m quite surprised there is no historic registry plaque on the house, it is definitely very old (by American standards). Has a musty smell, super steep staircase, and limited electrical sockets coinciding with the older age. There were amenities I would expect, but some niceties missing (no tissues/Kleenex, no towel hooks or racks at all in the second tiny bathroom, blinds or shades of some sort on most windows but not all of them so after dark you are exposed in some rooms). Also, it is only a couple blocks from train tracks and the whistles from the trains did wake me up a few times. Plenty of sleeping space for 8 people, one bathroom is big and gorgeous but the second is tiny (I suspect used to be a closet). Limited indoor dining seating, the large tables are all outside (front porch and out back by the pool), which serves fine in warm weather, but it dropped to 50 while we were there and can get colder! So a large party would not be able to dine together in cold weather. Very close to the Suwannee town center with lots of cool shops and restaurants around the village green. Very convenient to Atlanta for those not wanting to be right in the urban hustle. Check in was a bit odd: the instructions I received were for a coded lock box on the side porch. Searched high and low, could not find it, ended up calling the owner who described how the keys were actually rather hidden in plain sight on the porch and not to worry “it’s a very safe neighborhood”. Still not sure how I feel about that. All the doors locked, felt secure sleeping in the home for sure, but the check in was not what I would call secure and was definitely not per the instructions I was sent. Overall a fine stay, certainly is an interesting old house.

Cool eclectic place

We were in town for a family wedding. Perfect house for it. Utilized the additional on property cottage. The hosts were even helpful in arranging for additional out of town guests to join at the wonderful pool. The house was super cool. With unique and classy features all throughout. Warm and welcoming

This was our first experience doing a long term rental home and this home was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. The house was clean and extremely well stocked with all of the everyday items. The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. The owners responded to our questions immediately, we were well taken care of. Would stay here again!

Excellent family and friends getaway

Great Pool House Staycation

What makes this property unique

Close to all in the local Suwanee and Gwinnett and Hall county areas. Great for concerts, family, reunions or just friends wanting to gather and catch up on old times. I love the front porch in the morning and evening - just chilling and drinking a beer. The courtyard is great for coffee in a private space. Relax by the pool or play a little basketball, pool, ping pong, Corn hole, darts or anything else might come to mind. It's just a cool place to relax and have a good time.
