It is a quirky house with odd floors and aome low points on the ceilings, but it is spacious with room for a dozen or so and the location can't be beat on the south end of yhe lake. Just minutes from Margaritaville and Holiday Maina. Great communication beforehand with our host made for a womderful weekend getaway with friends.
Stayed here for 4 days. Plenty of space for our group of 10. Awesome location only 5 minutes from Margaritaville, grocery stores and restaurants. Would definitely rent again.
Highly recommend and hope to stay here again next year. Two families with young children stayed here and enjoyed the home and dock. Close enough to Publix and restaurants but once you were out back on the dock, felt secluded and peaceful. Home was well equipped with everything we needed to do cooking, light laundry for messy children and to relax. Would stay again!
We enjoyed our stay here so much. The house is minimalist in a great way - no weird bits of old furniture or random things, but everything neatly in a good place. The street is dead end and quiet. Convenient to lots of north Atlanta stuff. We even did a polar plunge off the dock on dec 31st brrrr! Courtney was kind and responsive to anything we needed.
Great location. Comfortable and quiet. Can accommodate a large group. Lake Front with good views. Two kitchens with 2 full size refrigerators. YoutubeTV and many other TV viewing options. 3 cars can park easily, up to 5 if willing to move them when needed. The host was very nice and quick to respond when we had questions. It was too cold for our group to use them, but the host has paddle boards and floats for the lake. Also corn hole and games in the living room.
Communication with the owner was great and check in was a breeze. The home is beautiful, with plenty of space, especially if you have a large group. The only reason for the rating of "4" was given was because of the property description. Although the listing is pretty acurate, we just wished it included how many steps or levels there are to this house. We had a person in our group that was a few weeks out post op from hip surgery, and he struggled with the amount of steps to this house. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the outdoor space and the lake! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this property!
I rated our staly a 4 only because
The House is the perfect place for a lake vacation with the family. The home was very clean and had everything you will need. The layout of the home worked great with our family since we each had a side of the home with one central gathering location. The dock worked out great to tie up our 31 ft boat and wave runner and we still had plenty room to swim , jump and lounge. Its just a very short walk to the dock from house the kid our (2 years old) had no problem walking back and forth. Overall if you are looking for a home to spend time at the lake this home has everything you are looking for. Also if you chose to do none lake activities everything you could possibly want to do is no more than a 15 min drive.
Booking was smooth and easy. Communication was solid as well. You can’t beat this location of your looking to experience lake Lanier. The dock is located in such a place that it does have deep water for your boat and its out of the way of all the traffic. Most people in this cove take advantage of this and stay swimming at the dock. Smart move especially on a holiday weekend. The boat ride to see the fireworks was 10 minutes. The water park and all the amenities at lake Lanier islands are minutes away as well. Grocery and some restaurants are also close. The dock is in need of repair as well as the front porch. Nails and rotting boards created some hazards to be avoided but it wasn’t that distracting. The bed’s mattresses besides the master leave a lot to be desired. The bunk beds for kids are loose and wobbly. They make lots of squeaky noises with any movement. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans.

Boating Vacation
Overall, the location of this home was beautifully centered near the south cove of Lake Lanier. After staying we quickly noted this was one of the more relaxed coves on the lake so we were delighted to have ended up here. We towed our ski boat from another state to vacation on the water. As my review is specifically centered around boating and utilizing the dock, the journey through the trail can be pretty sleep to get from the home to the boat dock. Be aware when planning to pack the boat with coolers, food, and bags for daily boating. I noticed most homes had a pretty steep travel from the docks to the house. Some people even drove golfcarts down to the boat ramps. Just something to keep in mind when wanting to hang out at the dock for a few hours. The house had plenty of space for our family of 10. We had some air conditioning issues during our arrival, it took a solid day for the house to cool down but the owners were very helpful. I was somewhat disappointed that the pictures showed the outdoor patio area for dining and eating – we were unable to use it due to the natural issues of bugs and webs around the gazebo. Also the view of the patio is facing the fence. I didn’t realize that as well. We enjoyed the house, and the lake! It was definitely relaxing! My next location I would prefer to see the water from the back porch, but that’s just personal preference for the price.

We apologize for your inconvenience with the AC on your arrival. An all new HVAC system for the home was installed in April 2022. When we went to physically inspect the issue you were experiencing, we discovered two upstairs windows in the bunk bedroom were slightly opened. We are unable to determine who may have left the windows opened but agree it occurred before your stay.
The house had plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 kids, but the house has a very strange, broken up split level layout. The listing really needs to states what's on each level and explain the layout better. A virtual tour of the house would be an added plus. My husband and I were planning on staying in the master bedroom, but the number of steps and the way they twisted and turned was not suitable for his back and knees, so we stayed on the main level.
Some of the pots and pans are very warn with miss matched lids. There were still dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but they did supply plenty of dish soap, dishwasher pods, trash bags, and laundry pods.
The trash cans were empty and by the road when we got there, so that was a big plus. However, we easily filled them over 4 nights and 5 days and the paperwork never stated when when trash pick up was. We had 2 full trash bags that would not fit it the bins and we took them to a marina dumpster so we did not get charged.
There are nails sticking out of the floor boards on the patio that need to be hammered back in. We did some, but they require attention.
The stairs down to the boat dock are crooked and getting washed out and really need repair.
I know this all sounds harsh, but we did have a great time and the mentioned problems did not prevent us from having a good time. We were just more cautious.
We’ve stayed on Lake Lanier 5 times. This was the first time we stayed on the south end of the lake.
The consensus among my family if five was that this was their favorite house we’ve stayed in on Lake Lanier. The house was cozy but had plenty of space for our family. The location was excellent. The walk to and from the lake was easy and the location on a quiet cove was perfect for swimming without the worry of boats or jet skis.
On top of all of this, the house was very clean and the property manager was very accessible if needed.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to everyone.
Could not have asked for a better location - quiet lake property with excellent access to the lake. Plenty of space for our family. We had a great time!

My husband, Mark and I are excited to share our lake house with others! Mark grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where he spent most of his summers enjoying Lake Erie. I was fortunate to spend most of my childhood summers here on the wonderful Lake Lanier. When the opportunity arose to purchase a property on Lanier, we were both very excited to create our own lake memories! We hope you'll enjoy our property while treating it like your own.
Why they chose this property
