Why stay in a busy hotel when you can enjoy peace and privacy in beautiful Maggie Valley? Spend some time relaxing on the back deck and you may start to wonder if you're really in a treehouse. Enjoy peek-a-boo views of the mountains in summer and even more views in the winter. The terraced yard is perfect for picnics or yoga and the small wet weather stream is delightful. There is ample outdoor seating to nap or read a book. Throw some steaks on the gas grill and enjoy dinner outside around the picnic table. The cabin sleeps 4-6 people comfortably . The sleeper sofa is perfect for lounging and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Need a little exercise? There are lovely walking trails right outside. The best shopping and dining in Maggie Valley is a 5 minute drive and Waynesville and Lake Junaluska are right around the corner. Cherokee is just 25 minutes away and downtown Asheville is an easy 40 minute drive . We feel like the cabin offers a lot of privacy but there are a few houses in the general vicinity so while it’s private it’s not totally secluded.
Feel free to use area around the under decking of the cabin. Pull out the furniture onto the "sundeck" and enjoy the stream and picnic table area:)
For your safety, please don't venture onto the lower levels of the yard. The terrain is uneven and steep.

Great Time, Great Location

Great location, close to the ski area we go to each year. Quaint cabin, very cozy, perfect view. Has a nice wood burning stove, very clean kitchen and bathrooms. I would recommend any time of year for a nice getaway.

Clean and Cozy!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was very clean and cozy, spacious, and fully stocked with anything you would need. The host sent driving directions beforehand since the road to get there is a bit windy and the GPS can be misleading. Plenty of space and we loved the skylight! The host was really easy to get in touch with and happy to answer any questions we had. Maggie Valley has a good bit to do and Waynesville and Cataloochee are close enough if you need to go further than that. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re trying to find a quiet spot near the Smokies!

Cabin is Quiet, clean, property beautiful, great host, the drive up to the cabin was beautiful all the colors, this cabin was perfect for October if you want to see the all the fall colors this is the cabin for you we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the leaves rain down

Another Amazing Stay

This is our second year in a row staying at this property and we loved our stay again. It had everything that we needed to have a great stay. We loved grilling dinner on the deck and starting a fire inside the cabin. I would recommend this cabin to anyone coming to the area!

A quiet and peaceful Getaway!!!!

Perfect cabin getaway

It was so peaceful at the cabin! I sat outside on the back porch most of our stay. The only things I heard were birds, rain, and a dog bark once or twice. It was really just what I needed! Cabin was perfect-had everything we needed!

Trip to Maggie Valley

took our grand kids to the mountains and feel lucky to have found treetop property is beautiful and has everything we needed if I had 1 thing to complain about is the lack of a turn around in the parking area I went past a little and backed my truck into the parking my fave spot was coffee in the am on the back overlooking the forest with the mountains in the background

Awesome location if you plan on skiing in winter

Very clean, cozy location minutes from skiing, far enough from civilization yet close enough to the locations you need. Property is a bit tucked away, but the owner gave great instructions how to get there. Nice working wood burning heater for ambiance and wonderful views from the balcony of mountain sunsets. I would recommend to anyone just wanting some time away.

Cabin was very pleasant, comfortable and quiet! The owners have a real sense for what people will need when they stay there and it shows in the way the cabin is maintained and set up. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. They proactively made sure we knew the things we needed to know prior to arriving.

Beautiful Tuck-Away

Nice quiet cabin nestled in the woods. So peaceful and homey. We enjoyed our stay here and didn’t want to leave! Drive way is a little tricky if you have a large vehicle. We just pulled past and backed in. It worked well. We will stay here again.

A very significant grade up to get there, but it was worth it. My car is All Wheel Drive and glad it was,. Beautiful, comfortable cabin that was relatively secluded. Wood stove heated the entire living room/kitchen well. Definitely would go back!

A lovely Plac

The manager was very helpful and several issues we encountered. The cabin was great, though I had to do some cleaning in one bathroom. We loved being up in the mountain! After a rain, it was difficult to get up the driveway with our 4-Runner, we felt badly about the tire ruts we made. This was our second stay here, and we hiked and kayaked in the area. Thanks to the manager!
