Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Waynesville and at Aida's property. Had everything we needed at this very clean and well equipped townhome, and check-in, and check-out was simple. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Visited our hometown from Western KY for a wedding - the check in process was easy, accommodations were great and when we ran into an issue with the shower curtain rod in the main bathroom, the host had the issue resolved within an hour. The amenities were also a plus as we didn’t run out of anything during our stay. We even extended an extra night and the host was very helpful in the process. We will definitely book again for our next trip to the Carolinas!

Our second stay won’t be our last!

This was our second visit to the rooster house, and we already can’t wait to plan another trip! Comfortably furnished with beautiful views - we looked forward to coffee on the porch each morning. Cleanest property I’ve EVER rented, and never had a single hiccup while streaming on the WiFi. Keyless entry is very convenient! Thank you again for sharing this beautiful lodging!

Lickstone house

Very nice well maintained home. It was large enough to be very roomy and comfortable yet small enough to be cozy. Location to town was great. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. This house was perfect! I have never slept so well outside of my own home. It’s a beautiful house, so comfortable and so well stocked. I’m already planning our next trip. All of Aida’s units are exactly as advertised!

Rooster house was exactly what we needed!

Rooster house was exactly what we needed. It was close to WCU, and we were there for freshman orientation. The house was very clean and close to food, Walmart and Ingles, but really felt like you were far from civilization. We will be certainly be back as we visit our daughter at WCU.

We love the Rooster House

Our family has stayed at the Rooster House and also at the adjoining cabin several times now, and continue to be extremely happy with the cleanliness and convenience of the properties. The house is always equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay, and the housekeeper does an excellent job. We have never once had any kind of cleaning issue, which is definitely rare. We plan to stay here many more times when visiting the Waynesville area. Thanks for keeping the cabins so nice!

GREAT stay at the Rooster House

Loved this place! Very nicely appointed, pleasantly decorated, so quiet, private, and peaceful! Nice mountain view from the front porch. Cleanliness is highest on my list and this one was top notch!!! Thank you to the host and her cleaning crew! Highly recommend a stay if you don't mind some steps to get in. Well lit outside for night time entry.

Wedding and Blue Mtns

The property was very nice and was exactly as shown in the photos. The stairs from the front of the garage to the living area were really the only negative as they are steep and maybe a round Stainlessor Brass hand rail on the east side may have been more secure.We were there for a wedding in the the Balsam Preserve developement at that was wonderful including the beautiful blue sky the day of. We also visted Blue Mtn area, the Parkway and Waterrock Knob hill. The views were fantasic, and the traffic wasn't bad on a Sat and Sunday. We vistited downtown Waynesville and found two fantastic places to eat for lunch and dinner.Thanks for letting us stay at your place, it all worked out great.

Step onto the front porch and you have a direct view west of Balsam Mountain. After a day enjoying the wide variety of activities available in our region, you can watch the setting sun over Balsam Mountain.
The master bedroom has a California king bed with new mattress. The second bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed and one twin bed.
The living space is upstairs. Only garage is downstairs. Must climb steps.
