This is a new 1 bedroom 1 bath condo in a great Mesa location. It is a lower level - no stairs. Light rail is 2 miles away.

Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Grocery Store is around the corner. Fast food, Walgreens, Pizza, Taco Bell, Subway etc. all within walking distance.

It is close to Bashas grocery store and lots of restaurants and shopping. US60 and 202 Freeways are nearby. Excellent location - great for CUBS and A's Spring training games and close to the lightrail. This location cannot be beat!

Easy Walk/Bike for Exercise

The apartment was well decorated inside. Patio area was a little lacking, but just a shot walk to the two pools and hot tubs! Host was very responsive and helpful.

Spacious one bedroom condo

Love the 2 sink bathroom, large walk in closet with lots of hangers, Kitchen had everything for cooking and storing left overs . Totally recommend!

A nice long term stay

I had a long stay in Mesa and this apartment was ideal for my needs. It's in a nice complex and I had no issues with the neighbours, though there are some directly above. The place was well kitted out, and the quiet central aircon was a blessing during a roasting Arizona summer! There are some local shops, with a supermarket walking distance, and the canal and walk/cycle path is close. Would I stay there again? Yes for sure.

Short term stay

We stayed in the unit for 6 weeks, there is a Food City grocery store and Walgreens in walking distance. Close to Canal for biking, and sporting events. As for good restaurants we had to drive anywhere up to 30 mins. The unit definitely needs to be refurnished and updated. Queen mattress was very uncomfortable and bedroom blinds did not keep out the outside lights at night. We had to place black garbage bags on the blinds to darken the room. We had internet issues as well as a leak in the bathroom ceiling which Deanna took care of promptly. We would run out of hot water or times we only had warm water to shower with. The grounds and pool area were not well taken care of as we would find dog poop in front of the back patio and there was always ducks in the pool area.

Okay for the time..

I will preface this by saying I read every review on this location before I booked since I am not from this area. I have stayed alone in several places and normally feel safe, but I had a less than easy feeling most of the time I stayed here. This probably came from the area as I was driving in. The condo itself seemed okay in that regard. I have definitely stayed in cleaner places, to the point that I felt the need to clean the whole place myself when I got there. For example, the tub had dust everywhere, the shower curtains looked pretty gross, counters really needed a good wipe down. I also did not feel comfortable sleeping in the actual bedroom since the window only has blinds that don’t even completely close, and it is directly next to the walkway outside. I opted to sleep on the pull out couch for at least some privacy. All-in-all it was okay, but it wasn’t as amazing as several of the reviews made it out to be.

I booked this property for a Friday-Tuesday stay. The owner let me know she had just acquired the unit. She should not have listed it at the time because it was not ready. She came by after our check in time to drop off items and do last minute things. The a/c was not working at all, which was an issue because I am six months pregnant and need sleep when I can get it, especially when paying for a vacation. I reached out to her several times. She initially said she was at a wedding for the weekend and could not do anything, then said someone would be by Sunday to check out the a/c which turned into Monday. She did offer to move me into a different unit but that was 12 hours before my departure, offering no compensation back for the problems. From start to beginning, the communication was lacking. I had to ask for the door code, wifi, pool key and other information that should be provided upon booking. The location is definitely convenient if you are there for Spring Training like I was but if the owner is not on top of things by your stay, you could experience the same type of situation.

This is a new rental unit and I was not aware the AC wasn't working efficiently. The weather was amazing during your stay - 72 daytime to 50's at night. However, I did offer several solutions including moving you to another rental unit - which was declined. The pool keys, and WIFI were provided prior to the check-in time along with a couple other small last minute things, but it is completely stocked and prepared for a fantastic little home away from home! The AC has been replaced and I am always available to take care of any issues that arise. This is 1 of 10 rental units I have and have had hundreds of happy guests!

Not Fancy, Working Class Neighborhood

I would not stay here again. DEPOSIT: The expensive deposit hasn’t been returned (13 days..) Cleanliness: Some dirty dishes. Uncleaned floor. Awful initial smell. Old furniture. VRBO: Support was frustrating, difficult & disappointing. Neighbors: Quiet. Average age: ~40 years old. Noise: You can hear every spoken word when people are talking as they pass bedroom which wasn’t often. Also, in PHX airport landing flight path. They are ~1,000 feet up but still audible Door Code-Lock is noisy Host: responsive. I fixed several things around the condo (touch up painting; raised & tightened shower curtain rod; disassembled and cleaned the vacuum cleaner with compressed air - vacuumed everything; UNCLOGGED the bathtub drain that had STANDING WATER; scrubbed kitchen sink & filthy coffee maker, literally left the condo in better shape than I found it and didn’t feel any gratitude from host Also, several days before checking out she asked if her “counter top guy” could stop by for “measurements” which felt more like a disguised inspection. I don’t believe she will install “granite” in this place. It’s peak demand during December-March so it’s a silly time to be doing upgrades… Also, this guy, who also speaks Italian, is probably her husband. He started the dishwasher before leaving which was also suspicious..

Peter, I am sorry you did not appreciate your stay. Being that I cleaned the property myself after a tenant who stayed a few months, I know it was not filthy or unclean. You booked a day before checking in so there was some limit on time, but I did a good job. You may not have felt gratitude because I found that it was completely unnecessary and concerning for you to completely disassemble the vacuum and send me photos taken of every piece on the ground at the carwash. Your claims are based on your experience, however, I feel mostly unwarranted. The shower was clogged and I appreciated you taking care of that, however, I would have sent a plumber out had you mentioned it. I don't ever expect or ask guests to perform maintenance on any of my properties, and typically prefer that they don't. There is nothing wrong with the front door lock. It makes noise when using the keypad and only when using the keypad by design. The gentleman that I sent out was not my husband, and I have no relationship to him, other than he is my countertop installer. I have been planning on getting the work done for months prior, but was unable to because the prior guest extended for several months and I already had pushed him back and had him scheduled to measure. He started the dishwasher on accident and not suspicious at all. I did ask if it was ok for him to come, but had it not been, that would have been ok to reschedule him. Wish you the best.

Mesa contract

I was in Mesa for a contract at one of the hospitals. This was the easy process overall. It was no hassle to reserve and to book with VRBO. The owner was by far exceptionally to work with. The property itself was the exact same as the pics that were posted. I was there for 10 weeks. I never had a problem with any of the neighbors. Everyone minds their business. The condo was extremely clean and updated. I really enjoyed my stay in this condo.

We were very pleased with our stay in Mesa. The property manager was very flexible and proactive with our requests. The property was quiet and close to amenities and had everything we needed for a long term stay (ie, plates, towels, sheets washer/dryer). I would highly recommend this property.

Mesa 1 bedroom Condo

We were very comfortable during our stay. The weather was cool so didn't get in the heated pool as we had planned, but the pool area had plenty of chairs to enjoy the sunny days. The bed was comfortable as was the living room area. Our messages to the owner were promptly answered. We would stay here again.

Great Getaway

The condo is in a perfect location to explore all that Phoenix has to offer. It is in a safe neighborhood. The unit is clean and had all the necessary items to cook meals (if you choose) and do some laundry. The pool is fabulous - heated so that even if temperatures only reach high sixties, low seventies, the water is inviting. Deanna is easy to reach and responds quickly. I hope to be back again.

Awesome VRBO and Fantastic Host!

I can’t thank Deanna enough for her hospitality! I recently sold a home and was in the process of purchasing a new one but had nearly three weeks of homelessness prior to closing on the new home. I had arrangements to stay somewhere but they fell through last minute and Deanna came to the rescue. She was prompt and accommodating of pets which was not easy to find. The condo was perfect for me and the location was fantastic as I was relatively close to work. I’m a huge baseball fan and for anyone wanting to catch an A’s and/or Cubs game, this condo is an ideal place to stay. You can walk to the A’s stadium if you wanted to and the Cubs stadium is about a 10-15 min drive. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wanting to catch some Spring Training games, to anyone who is just in need of a great VRBO for a getaway, or to anyone who was in a similar position as me! Clean, well appointed unit that was perfect for the two of us for a week. It was walking distance to a full service grocery store and for us, an easy walk to the A's spring training facility! Added bonus: two pools. covered parking and a short drive away from Sloan Park, the Cubs spring training facility. Had a bit of trouble on arrival identifying the unit # but owner was quick to respond at nearly 10 pm and remained on the phone until we found the unit and were able to get in. We really appreciated that kind of service, thank you!

Great small condo, tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay of a month & the warm weather.

I loved the pool & hot tub just a short walk from the condo.It was well maintained & clean. The condo had nice touches that made us feel right at home from bottles of water in the ref. to clean beach towels & bath towels. I liked that it had a washer & dryer so I wouldn't have to go home from a vacation & do lots of laundry. Deanna Smith was very accommodating when I would call her.

Great Gem in Mesa

The condo was the perfect spot for our quick getaway. Close to Fitch Park for Oakland A’s minor league baseball. The condo was well appointed and clean, the bed was comfortable and the covered parking was nice in the AZ heat. The unit was very quiet - we never heard any neighbors. Deanna was responsive and helpful. I would definitely rent this unit again if I needed a one bedroom. I am already in the process of renting a larger unit with Deanna for March. And you can’t beat the price. Thanks for a great stay!
