There were many things that the host could include in the apartment that would make it a lot more homey. For example, another LR chair, a table lamp (I bought one at the Goodwill and left it in the apartment for the next renters), storage space (chests) in the bedrooms for clothes, soap for dishwasher, a bath mat (I bought one and left it in the apartment for next renters), dish rack, kleenex, clean air filter (I replaced a very dirty air filter and told the home\\st that it should be replaced monthly), a functioning TV remote (I discussed with host and she made no effort to provide a remote that worked), functioning doorbell, functioning outdoor porch light, functioning microwave (the glass tray does not rotate), etc. I had a conversation with the host about some of these things, but they should have been provided or fixed prior to our stay and without my having to ask.Important note: The unit is on the second floor a fact not mentioned in the VRBO ad.So, again, I would like to like this unit, but it seemed from our first step in the unit that the owner did not know how to make it homey. I am certain I will not stay at this unit again.
