Located on the east shore of Vancouver Island, 10 mins from Nanaimo and a short drive to many of the island's attractions, this beautiful 2 bedroom condo has everything you need for a family vacation, couples retreat, or girlfriends getaway. Spend the day hiking, fishing, or paddling then relax by the pool or on one of our 3 cozy decks. Nestled in nature, you will leave refreshed and rejuvenated!

The vacation condo is secluded and private, has its own dock, firepit near shore, pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean, tennis court, playground, and more!

Complete with fully stocked kitchen, you can dine in or eat out at a local favourite.

Laundry on-site.

We offer nightly (3-5 night min), weekly, and monthly rentals.

We absolutely loved our stay at Inn of the Sea! The unit was beautifully appointed, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, and offered stunning views that made every day special. Relaxing get away

We brought our 3 young kids (all under 5 years old) for a relaxing trip to see the ocean. It was quiet at the condo and they had everything there we needed.

This location is good for visiting our family in Ladysmith and Nanaimo. Our grandkids love swimming in the pool and the ocean.

Family reunion at Inn of the Sea

Great to return after 20+ years with grandchildren and families. Rented 3 suites, kids loved swimming and exploring tide pools, adults enjoyed BBQs and share meals. Great fun!

Excellent family getaway

This was our second year staying here. The unit was stocked with everything we needed. It's clean and comfortable and the property is beautiful. A great spot for families to relax, play on the beach ans catch crab.

This is one of the most beautiful locations our family has ever stayed and Kristen is an amazing host!Everything was perfect! Super comfortable beds, plenty of room for a family, gorgeous waterfront and places to wade, swim, hike and play, and very relaxing and quiet, even when more guests showed up for the weekend. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms have everything you need, plus outdoor bbqs. Pool and hot tub were awesome. and we spent plenty of time at the tennis/pickleball court. We will definitely be back!

Christmas getaway

We stayed here over Christmas to visit with family on Vancouver Island. The property was conveniently close to the ferry terminal. We found the condo to be very comfortable for 4 adults. It is well equipped and the surrounding property is gorgeous. The owner responded to communications almost immediately and the check in/out process was seamless.

Relaxing family getaway

The condo was very well equipped and very clean. The spacious layout is great, kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook and the bedding was very comfortable. The beautiful view you have while sitting on the deck relaxing is breath taking. The complex itself is gorgeous, very well maintained with bbq areas, on site laundry and play areas for the kids. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo!

Amazing getaway

This is the perfect location to get away from it all. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen amenities needed. The views are amazing, and the pool and hot tub were great! It is 20 min from groceries / liquor store so if you stock up you don’t need to leave! There is wifi but little cell coverage. My family and o enjoyed it immensely!!

Quiet and Beautiful Place on the Beach

We looked all over for a place near Nanaimo and finally found this condo. We were pleasantly surprised by the price and the fact that it was in a quieter setting. The condo is nice and private. The facilities (particularly the pool, hot tub, and grounds) were are very well maintained. Communication with the property manager was easy and made us feel very welcome. My only suggestion to anyone staying here is stop at the grocery store (if you need to) while in town. It’s a bit of a drive and the closest Country Grocer just a bit north of the place is a bit lacking. This is nothing negative about staying there, just a heads up. We had a great time exploring the area and visiting all the fun little towns around there.

Beautiful Condo.

The condo was very well equipped. Location beautiful. Great spot if just to use as a base for day trips. Unfortunately the outside amenities fell short , as not near enough pool deck area, pool chairs and hot tub very small to host all the people living and vacationing there. Playground small and only 4 BBQs Unfortunately during our stay the hot tub was used more for a warm pool for children between the ages of 6 months and 6. And numbers of 10 or more in at a time with pool toys.

A great find

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It is far away from restaurants / groceries, but not a problem as long as you realize that. Be aware that there are stairs: There is a flight of stairs outdoors to get up to the unit. The floor with the entrance has the bedroom/bathroom. You go upstairs to the top floor for the main living area and 2nd bedroom. We found the layout great as we each had more privacy than is often the case. Overall, a great find.

Beautiful but two things to be aware of...

The condo, its condition, location and the beauty of the setting are all very good. It is very well outfitted, great natural light and good heating. But, prospective guests should be told there is no cell phone service on the property. We realized the second day there was a land line but its number was not provided. A very elderly relative back home got Covid while we were at the condo but could not reach us due to there being no cell phone service. There are a great many stairs just to get into the condo and between the two bedrooms in the unit. Very difficult for people with health issues. Also, for those staying several days, the laundry facilities are across the compound, in another building - again requiring much up and down on those long flights of stairs. I tried to make a WiFi call and a call from their own land line to the property owners but just got a loud noise - the call did not connect with the number given to reach them. Also, the hot tub was not in service. That tub was a key reason for us choosing the property. All around we felt we did not get our money's worth. It is nice but under the circumstances was not worth what we were charged.

We enjoyed our stay at your condo.

Very clean and comfortable living space and well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was very pleasant although the last day of our stay, the hot tub was not heated due to power issue in the area. We would return to this condo as it was quiet and a very scenic area. The hosts were easy to communicate with, answered our queries quickly.
