Welcome to Salty Hammocks A2! This beautifully furnished oceanfront condo offers a clean, cozy, and well-maintained retreat with all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Located on the first floor, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit features a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, range oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The dining area seats four, while the living room provides comfortable seating for five, a queen sleeper sofa, and a 65” flat-screen TV with cable, VCR, and DVD player. Additional conveniences include complimentary Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and two designated parking spaces. Guests can also enjoy the seasonal community pool, typically open around Memorial Day.

The master suite boasts oceanfront views, a king bed, a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and a TV with cable. The second bedroom features two twin beds and patio access, sharing a full bathroom with the common area. Whether you're unwinding on the beach, lounging by the private pool, or enjoying a quiet evening inside, this condo is the perfect place to create lasting vacation memories. Please note: Parking in Carolina Beach & Kure Beach is limited—guests are allotted two spaces with required parking passes to avoid towing.

Excellent location with wonderful porch view of the ocean and short walk to the beach. Loved the 2nd level and parking close to the condo. Condo was cozy and decor was cute. One thing not so good was the odor coming out of the drain when water was running. Also someone had cut the lamp cord in 2nd BR leaving the room with no lamplight and one of the kitchen chair legs was broken.

Beach stay

The place was clean and right on the beach. Nice location. Place is definitely old and a little worn but it was good for the time frame we were there for. The "den" as they refer to it is actually the living room. It could use a little decluttering. Filled with extra furniture that could be removed and the place would feel more open.

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is perfect and you are only steps away from the beach. This is a great place for a couple or small family. Parking isn’t assigned but we were able to get a spot right near our unit every time. Even if you had to park elsewhere on the property, it’s not very big so you’d never be far from your condo. As of August 2025, the living room and both of the bedrooms do not have ceiling fans, something that did surprise us a bit especially in a warm climate and at the beach. You could bring a tabletop fan if you are someone who needs extra airflow or likes the white noise it provides. I’m not someone who runs hot, but even I was missing the airflow a fan provides. This did not ruin our trip, but it is worth noting in hopes that ceiling fans are added in the future. Overall, we had a great time. This is our second time at Carolina Beach and our first time in this condo. The location was great and there are so many good food options. Some of our favorites are Michaelangelo’s Pizza, Leaf & Love, Malama Cafe, The Vault (coffee shop and wine bar), Havanas, and so many more. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The unit was clean and the host, Carolina Beach Realty, was very attentive and responsive to our questions. We had a great beach view. The king bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the second bedroom as it was just the two of us.

We were disappointed with needed a dryer and it didn't work . With the rain. We really needed it.

parking wasn't great, assigned would have been nice., pool closed. Dryer did not work, bathroom door did not close or lock. Stove hood was falling down. IWe choose for washer and dryer and pool. I really think we should get some kind of discount. Called and said needed to email manager. Would like a response, we really needed the dryer esp with the rain. Really can't say we would be back or use your agency again.
