This is a wonderful place to spend time with family. Which is why we came, to celebrate our dads 90th day of a tremendous life.From a large election of games, puzzles, books and full set up bar with an ice maker, a kitchen that has modern amenities and every accessory you need. There really is no need to go anywhere for entertainment, but if you just want to, there is a zip line park just minutes away.We will re-book again in the future.

we absolutely loved this property! It was two couples and a total of five children and everything was perfect! From the kitchen that had absolutely every amenity you could ever need, and some you've never even heard of, to the beautiful deck and amazing views, the hot tub, accessibility to activities, comfortable beds and tons of blankets! We can't say enough about how great this house was and how it contributed to making it a fantastic vacation for all of us!! I tried to get five stars for all of the review categories but something with the app would not let me. Five stars all the way!

Currently, we live and work in Texas, have three children and two grandchildren. We love to travel and have stayed in many VRBO's throughout our travels and decided it was time we bought one to enjoy and offer to other fellow travelers.

Why they chose this property

After many years of deciding on a place to settle, we kept coming back to the Appalachian chain and found the charm of Highlands and Clayton to be an absolute jewel with the best of everything we could have desired. This home had so many features we wanted in a floor plan, with an amazing long-range view, and the proximity to the area's attractions we could not refuse. So much to offer in outdoor activities we could never be bored!

What makes this property unique

The main living floor plan allowed us to be able to enjoy just the two of us and be cozy enough, but with a large enough main gathering room for large family get togethers. The lower level allowed for our kids and grandkids to join us with one of our favorite pastimes of playing table tennis (ping pong). The expansive decks allows everyone access from each room, and a view of the mountains from each area of the house, so no one is left out.
