Vacation home in Sky Valley, perfect for families and foursomes!

Beautifully Furnished Home located in Sky Valley Golf Resort. Sleeps 8-10 people. If you want to be close to the golf course and have an excellent view of the mountains, this is the place to be.

Top floor has a full open kitchen, half bath, dining room and great room with wood burning fireplace. Every bedroom has a private full bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with sit down bar, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Bedroom One is located on the top floor. Lower floor has additional family room, kitchenette, laundry room and an electric fireplace. Bedrooms Two, Three and Four are located downstairs. Enjoy breathtaking views from either of the 2 decks. Gas grill is located on the upper deck. Fire bowl is located on the lower deck. Wood flooring throughout the house, except bottom bedrooms which have carpet. Home overlooks the Eighth Fairway of the Golf Course. Smart TV in every room with Amazon TV available and ROKU player in the Great Room for streaming with Sling TV and Amazon TV. Sling TV provides ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, Fox Sports, Disney and much more. All Linens provided. Central air and heat with separate climate zones for the top floor and bottom floor. Access to community pool, outdoor hot tub, fitness room, sauna, indoor hot tub, playground, tennis courts and pickleball courts is included. We allow small pets with owner's written permission! $100.00 non-refundable pet deposit. Free long distance phone calls available. Porch swing on both levels. Outside security camera in use. Each bathroom has a 16-inch safety bar inside shower and 24-inch safety bar outside each shower. Chair height toilets and hotel style shower curtain in every bathroom (no plastic liners.)

We really enjoyed the home! From the views to the cleanliness it was exceptional. We had everything we needed for cooking, the bedrooms were great and the views from most of the rooms were more than we hoped for. We came at a perfect time as the weather was good and fall was beginning to put on a show. We were able to enjoy many of the amenities the area had to offer.Thank you to the hosts of this property.

We enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather. The size and layout of the house was perfect for our group 8. Grandparents slept upstairs and young family downstairs. The town of Clayton had shops and restaurants we great.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The weather was amazing so we spent mornings on the porch and the view was amazing. The neighborhood was nicely kept. Very peaceful. Everyone had their own bed/bath. That made it very easy getting everyone ready for dinner. We did have to prepare for going down the mountain into our travel plans. The little Italian restaurant at cross road is amazing.

Exceeded Expectations

We loved everything about the house and the resort. Well appointed. Bathroom in each bedroom was ideal for multiple couples. Kitchen had everything you could want. Will stay again if we need to stay in the area.

Simply amazing!

This place was just perfect for our girlfriend trip! The views are beautiful! The house is “beary” cutely decorated. Lots of room for us to spread out. We loved that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We definitely plan to return and rent this house again!

Beautiful cabin in Sky Valley

We rented this for a long holiday weekend. It is a lovely property with great views. The rooms are spacious! John the owner was very helpful & so pleasant to deal with! We would definitely love to come back-especially if they reopen the pool!!

Perfect for big family trips

When you go on a trip with a large family you often expect to cram in, but this property had plenty of space! One thing we loved is every bedroom had its own private bathroom. Lots of seating for everyone and plenty of dishes to cook! The house was very clean and the amenities were great! It was nice to feel like we were home away from home. Definitely recommend!

Perfect for multiple families

We were in town for my nieces wedding, and needed a place to accommodate my 70 yo parents, my husband and I, as well as my brother and his wife and small kids. The three king bedrooms were identical, so there was no dispute over who got the “good” room. There is was a huge back yard that made for a great water gun fight arena. Both porches provide lovely views. We took several hikes, all within 15 min.

Sky Valley Getaway

This was our second stay at this property and after ten years, it still shows great care and cleanliness. This location is right in the valley, close to golf course, clubhouse and pickelball courts. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas of Franklin, Dillard & Clayton, as well as Highlands. Having a bathroom in each bedroom is a nice plus! House is stocked with everything you will need and has plenty of room for kids, as well as parents. We look forward to our next stay!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

We had 9 family members ranging in age from 19 to 79 for a long family weekend. This beautiful home was perfect! Every bedroom has a private bath, plus there is a half bath on the main floor. The home is beautifully decorated and was absolutely immaculate! The kitchen was stocked so preparing and serving meals was so easy. Best of all, the owner was very helpful and checked to make sure everything was going smoothly. I highly recommend this home! We can’t wait to go back!

Home in Sky Valley

This home offers good space, nice view, and bathrooms attached to each bedroom. The landlord allowed prior inspection which was helpful in arranging for family members’ stay. He could have been kinder in his communications about use of the heat when temps plunged into the 40s, using a negative tone & threatening to add extra charges for electricity. With toddlers & infants in the home, it was important to keep them warm. Ultimately the situation was resolved but was a distraction to a family celebration.

Wonderful home in great location

We were so happy to find this home in great condition, just as it appeared in the listing. It was very well kept and in a great location for us. We've stayed at a number of homes in the Highlands area for over 20 years, but have now decided this location just might be our perfect spot. The privacy in the home regarding bedrooms each having their own bathroom was a huge plus. Although we chose to only cook one main dinner during our stay, the kitchen seemed very well stocked. The large family area upstairs and the additional seating area downstairs is great for large families needing their own space. Because of the location, we were easily able to fit quite a bit of fun into our extra long weekend including a visit to the Highlands Screamer, Julep Farms, two different days of golfing, and multiple trips to Highlands for hiking, sightseeing, dining, and a little shopping. It was so nice to come "home" to a great place to stay after all of our activities. Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation place for our family!

Perfect Vacation Home in Beautiful Sky Valley

Sky Valley has been a family favorite vacation area. When we were looking for a place to stay with our daughter and grandchildren, we found Little Bear Trail. We could not have had a better experience! The location is perfect and easy to find. We had a large passenger van and it was very easy to get in and out of the driveway. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and a true home away from home. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view from the porch is breathtaking and I am sure it is equally beautiful in every season. Watching the sun rise over the mountains in the morning from the porch was so peaceful. The sound of the church bells ringing throughout the day was a personal favorite. There are many places to walk around the area and there is a waterfall right in Sky Valley that is definitely worth a visit. The owners were very easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions. I really can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better. We will definitely keep Little Bear Trail in mind for future visits. Thank you to the owners for sharing your rental with us.

In 2002 John and Julie Wilkins were invited to stay in Sky Valley while looking to build a vacation home in the mountains. Immediately, they fell in love with the area and while searching for the perfect location, they found Little Bear. They have loved and enjoyed this 2nd home while happily sharing it with renters for over 20 years. Now that they have retired, Mike and Kim (their daughter) have decided to continue the tradition and keep this home in the family. We have had the pleasure of enjoying this vacation home with our friends and family for many years and are fortunate to be able to continue to do so. This Home has it all, completely furnished, 4 bedrooms 4.5 bathrooms. Every bedroom has its' own private bathroom. On those just lazy days sit back, relax, enjoy the fresh cool mountain air and the spectacular view.

What makes this property unique

You not only have a beautiful view of the mountains, you have one of the eighth fairway of the golf course. Within short walking distance of Pool area(heated) and Golf Pro Shop. Fully equipped kitchen. Out of toilet paper or garbage bags'? Our local maid service will be glad to replenish the supply. Hiking trails and a waterfall within walking distance. Only thing missing is YOU!!!
