Perfect Genuine, Rustic Escape in Sevierville!We just had a deeply relaxing vacation at Hibernation Hideaway. If you want Hyatt Regency luxury, this isn't it—but it’s exactly the genuine, cozy, and secluded Tennessee cabin experience we wanted. The tree-lined level lot is quiet and serene, yet a short drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, and the national park.The cabin is comfortable, pet-friendly, and has great amenities: cozy beds, a stone fireplace, TVs, a washer/dryer, and dual coffee makers (Keurig/regular). The outdoor space is a paradise. Our dogs loved the secure porch (built with grates so they couldn't run off), and we loved the private hot tub, fire pit, hammock, and covered picnic table.A huge plus: you can ride a street-legal UTV/SxS directly from the cabin to Cades Cove or Cherokee via Highway 441. Just make sure your rig complies with TN laws (tagged, registered, insured) and display a park pass.Honest tip: The paved mountain roads up to the summit are very narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Also, keep an eye out for wildlife—we had a bear walk right up to the cabin! Be respectful and leave no food out.Lastly, Geri was a phenomenal host and incredibly quick to respond—the best we've ever had. We highly recommend this cabin and plan on returning every October!

Our stay ar Hibernation Hideaway was great.Check in was easy and the cabin was a perfect fit for us, everything we needed was there. Loved the gated wrap around porch. Grocery store was close to cabin, and the cabin location was great to see all the attractions in Gatlinburg, PF, and the park.Host was very helpful with any questions we had. This is our 2nd stay at one of her cabins, and will not be the last. Thank you Geri

Everything was as advertised. We loved the old fashion feeling of living in the woods and the Bears for a treat to see. Unfortunately, we did not use teh hot tub. We decided to use teh jacuzzi bath in the upstairs bedroom instead. We had no issues or problems.Thank you Geri for providing a great stay. We look forward to coming back soon.

The host was great to answer any questions! The drive to the cabin is through a mountain neighborhood of sorts but the roads are well maintained! The cabin was clean and so neat. Good bit of outdoor area if you bring a pet. We would stay again!

The cabin was very cozy. We loved the outdoor space for our dogs and 2 year old daughter. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing in the cool evenings. We love the location as well and how close it was to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The host, Geri, was wonderful and very communicative with us on our stay and answering any questions we had. We will absolutely be back.

We had an excellent stay here. It is exactly as it looks in the photos. We had an excellent time. When booking, please note that there will most likely be many bear/wildlife interactions. One of the reasons my family booked this cabin is because of that factor. We love nature and watching from a safe distance. If this is not your vibe then I wouldn't book it. For us, this was the perfect calm weekend getaway. We were able to enjoy the wilderness/wildlife, Dollywood, and Gatlinburg as this cabin is right in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Its about a 15-20 minute drive to each location making this a super convenient place to stay as well. I will say, if you are planning on using the washer and dryer, the washer did not spin out enough to make the clothes dry enough for the dryer. This did not effect us too much as we were only trying to wash and dry our beach towels. This is literally the only issue we had which is so tiny it is hardly worth mentioning. We will for sure be back we loved our stay and cannot wait to go back. Geri is a lovely host. Thank you so much for making our stay so special! 3

Great Spring Break Stay

We enjoyed staying at Hibernation Hideaway. The cabin was nice and the location was nice. It was quiet and we saw some bears in the neighborhood. The roads were not too bad which was a plus for me. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was nice.
