My wife and I just wanted to getaway to the woods. Nice cabin with a lot of things to do on the property. We also visited some near by places and enjoyed the areas history.

We had a fantastic experience at the cabin. We wanted a weekend away, just the two of us, no kids and time with just each other. The hot tub was a perfect bonus. It was nice to have a washer/dryer to be able to wash the towels we needed to use. Will definitely make this a reoccurring trip.

Cozy and quiet
We loved this cabin. It was so cozy and quiet. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, playing volleyball and relaxing in the hot tub after white water rafting. Very quiet - we all slept like hibernating bears. With the other cabins on the grounds, would be great for a family reunion. Our DVD player was out but Everett and Lesa had it fixed promptly.

We had a really good time. In general the area was a little buggy but it’s in the woods... Limited flat/grassy area for the pup to potty but she’s new to travel, and it’s the mountains...
Overall this quaint quiet little cabin fit the bill for a peaceful retreat.

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for visiting us at The Cabins at Copperhill! We are definitely in the mountains and you won't find much flat areas in the mountains or they wouldn't be called mountains. I guess they would be called "flat lands" and YES, there are bugs, spiders, snakes, lizards, turtles, coyotes, bears, foxes, deer, turkey, opossums, raccoons, and many other of God's beautiful creatures here. It's part of the deal....You get serenity, peace and quite, rocking chairs, and in exchange you have to accept wildlife. We generally feel it's worth it!
Again, we are glad you visited and hope to see you again soon. Thanks for leaving the cabin clean!

Team Bonding Time
The Cabins at Copperhill were a great getaway for our softball team as we approach the playoffs. Nestled in the woods in close proximity to some great whitewater rafting, the cabins comfortably accommodated the team and coaches. The Copes were wonderful, greeting us despite our late arrival and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. From our very first communication, they were incredibly professional and helpful.

Thank you so much, Coach Cromie!
Your team was a pleasure to host, and the cabins were left in GREAT condition! You all are welcome back any time!
To start they charged us for having service animals. The place is not clean. The hot tub was not used as it was dirty and the outside top was torn up. Leaking tub and has a bad smell. I would highly recommend looking into another option before booking dont let the photos trick you there not updated. This was our first time booking at this place and last time.

What's interesting about this review is that this guest claimed they were never here. They have made claims (multiples) with their credit card company that they cancelled their reservation and therefore were not on site in an attemp to fradulently reverse their credit card charges. We are still in this midst of dealing with this. If you are reading this review, please read the other hundereds of reviews for our cabins and glamping tents. Across the board, between all of the rental services like VRBO, we have a very strong 4.9 stars. Unfortunately, this is the kind of thing owners of short term rentals have to deal with when you catch someone attempting to run a scam. This guest brought dogs, which there is a small extra charge for extra cleaning. The guest did not inform us or pay for the dogs. We love dogs and are happy to have them, but the guests need to do the right thing and follow the rules. The percentage of service dogs to pets brought to our property is considerably less than 1%. So, should we have to track down every guest that attempts to sneak in their pet without following the rules? We think not. If the guest would have let us know before arriving, there would have been absolutely no issue, and they wouldn't have gotten their "panties in a wad". So again, this guest was upset and inventing reasons to reward our business with a 1-star review. Thanks for reading and we hope to see you soon!
My husband, three kids/teens, and two dogs loved the cabin and all the grounds had to offer. The game area with a pool table and ping pong was so fun. We went fishing at the pond a couple of times a day. The cabin was extremely clean- one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in our travels. Just be aware that there is no central air or heat. There’s a window unit, fans, gas fireplace, and space heaters. It did get kind of hot at night. The beds were just ok. Shower had pretty good pressure, and we never ran out of hot water! Oh, and the hot tub was so nice. Overall great trip. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing property with wonderful owners
The property at Copperhill Country Cabins is absolutely terrific. The cabins are so comfortable and were perfect for our church group. The teenagers loved playing at the sand volleyball court and singing by the bonfire. The owners were so kind to provide paper products for all of our meals. Before we came, we had several questions which they answered by email - even after hours! Once we arrived back home, one of our teens discovered he had left his flashlight. The owners not only found it, but mailed it back to him! They truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic! As soon as we get our calendar set for next summer, we will be booking with them again!

Thank you so much Christie!! Your group was such a pleasure to host. We look forward to having you again in the future!
I absolutely loved my stay. It was clean and easy access to get in. All my questions for the hosts was answered in a timely fashion. I definitely will book again.
Lovely property for a wonderful weekend!
My husband and I and our 13 yo son really enjoyed our stay! From spending our evenings watching Halloween movies in the cozy cabin to playing pool in the game room, it was a prefect Oct weekend! The location is great! We enjoyed exploring the area including Blue Ridge, and also a beautiful drive along the Ocoee River. Just a few minutes up the road we found some horseback riding for a fun afternoon adventure.
It was our first cabin in experience and we will be staying again. Check in was so much easier than a hotel. Even tho it was work related it was very relaxing. I do recommend this property.

We enjoyed our short trip at Copperhill Cabins. I would recommend this spot to families looking for a reunion site or groups that like to travel together and rent multiple cabins. They had fun activities available on the grounds, like the lodge and bonfire pits.
The cabin is small but convenient for just a weekend trip. The hosts provided plenty of amenities, especially in the kitchen. We were able to cook breakfast and grill dinner without any trouble. The location is convenient if you are looking to shop and dine around Copperhill and Blue Ridge. The only con about the location is its proximity to the road and other cabins. It was not a very quiet or isolated cabin stay. So if you are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, perhaps try a different rental.
Otherwise, this was a very well managed, cozy and fun rental! Thank you for sharing your property with us!
We had a great time on our stay. Everything was a short drive. Walked around Copperhill and Blueridge and went to the Oconee rafting center. Everywhere was dog friendly which was nice. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pits in the evening. Good times!
Wonderful place to relax and recharge! Just what I needed after a long summer of on-line meetings ;-). Lesa and Everett are great hosts and lovely people. They were so helpful as I was searching for a place to stay and with the booking process. And upon arrival, walked me through the cabin and provided recommendations and information on local venues and hiking areas. Could not have been easier. And very dog friendly as proven by the wonderful Rona as the "welcoming committee"!! I feel so lucky to have found this gem! And will definitely be back. Thank you!
