Very private top floor ocean front location. Sealodge E10 is the perfect choice for a honeymoon. All of the north shore's great beaches and attractions are conveniently close, and there's a beach path onsite, but you'll be perfectly happy to stay in too, and enjoy the view and the sight and sound of the ocean from this charmingly updated Sealodge Kauai penthouse.

The view from your lanai reaches all the way down the Anini reef to the lighthouse at Kilauea. The shaded lanai with seating for two is perfect for morning coffee, an informal al fresco dinner, or a quiet hour with a good book as you're cooled by the ocean breezes. The comfortably furnished living room has a vaulted ceiling, an oceanfront reading nook, and tasteful Hawaiian decor. Unobstructed views from the living room and bedroom include distant mountains, waterfalls, glimpses of Bali Hai, and unending ocean in variegated shades of blue. This Kauai vacation rental is the perfect home away from home.

From the queen size bed, you can turn your head and gaze out the large picture window to admire the length of the stunning north shore. Full bathroom includes tub and shower. Dining area seats four people. Additional amenities include home entertainment system free wifi access, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, washer/dryer, a variety of beach gear, board games, books, and CDs of Hawaiian music. Enjoy the newly renovated bathroom with spacious walk-in shower! The condo complex provides shared pool and barbeque facilities (barbeques are charcoal and BYOB - bring your own briquettes).

Our Kauai vacation rentals at Sealodge are located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, that ends at a dramatic ocean bluff. These Princeville condos face the ocean on their lanai side. A short, rather strenuous, hike brings you to the secluded Sealodge Beach. Shopping and dining are conveniently close, with the Princeville shopping center just a mile and a half away. The charming town of Hanalei, and the world famous Hanalei beaches, are a brief ten minute drive. Our Sealodge Kauai condos are comfortable, quiet, and island casual.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

The property is well located as it is near a private beach and not more than 15mins from the town center. The unit is well stocked with beach gear. It was nice to wake up and go to be to a view of the beach and have the windows open for fresh air and the sound of the ocean. Would book again!

We really enjoyed the condo during our stay on Kauai. We looked forward every morning to watching sunrise with a cup of coffee and relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. Evan from the management company addressed any issue promptly when contact (nothing major, just the small everyday issues). Very happy with everything.

Amazing view from every window. Have stayed at SeaLodge before in a ground level unit, and enjoyed being on the 3rd floor so much more. If youre able to climb the steps, the views of the reef below is well worth it. Super airy and clean. Unit came with everything we needed. Will stay again!

Beautiful view

This property is extremely well appointed with all kinds of amenities and helpful cooking items, towels, soap, etc. The most important thing about the property is the view. It is incredible! Sunrises in the morning are amazing. The neighborhood, Princeville, is a plan community with lots of pretty homes, a golf course, and is about 10 minutes away from Hanalei, Which is another great town. Pro Tip: There is a Hidden beach if you take the trail near the property. It’s about a five minute walk and you find yourself on a small secluded beach, which has reefs for snorkeling and beautiful scenery. Feels like being on Gilligans Island!

It was better than remembered and remodeled to look even nicer. We would go back again to the same unit. One negative, the pool was not in working condition and we were promised a $25 per day refund. We have not received the refund yet. It has been 15 days since leaving.

We had the windows open and slept to the sounds of the ocean every night. (Note: there is no A/C, which wasn’t an issue for our stay in October) Sunrise views over the ocean looking down to the lighthouse were enjoyed from the bedroom, patio and sitting area and sunset views over the mountains from the kitchen and front deck. The condo building is at the end of the road of a larger community and it was very quiet. The hiking trailhead to the secluded Sealodge Beach was a few steps from the unit. There were adequate starter soaps, TP, paper towels, etc. The unit had beach umbrellas, coolers, ice packs, snorkel gear, fishing rod and other extras. Our only negative was there were very worn ‘camp’ chairs instead of beach chairs and one broke soon after using it the first time. The rental company was very responsive to our inquiries before our arrival and during our stay. We enjoyed the Princeville area for convenient access to most of our activities which were in the north end of the island. Would recommend & rent this unit again in a heartbeat.

On a clear day you can see forever

I'd stayed in Princeville twice before and always wanted to stay here. The views here are fantastic, and waking up the sunrise on the horizon is a sight to remember. It rained more than it didn't (late June), gale force winds most of the time (who needs AC?), and the lanai was basically never really dry, but you grab moments of sunshine when you can! Check-in was very smooth, and advance communication was very thorough. The unit itself is simple but thoughtfully appointed. The living room and the bed are comfortable, and there is ample closet and dresser space. The bathroom is very tight, so just keep that in mind. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and spices, except there is no coffee grinder (we had coffee beans ground at Outpost Coffee in Hanalei). There is a speaker system in the living room with bluetooth, and the washer and dryer were very handy. The Sealodge complex itself is lovely. Some folks complain about its aging, but there's a charm to it. Walking around the property at sunset with a glass of wine was a highlight (there's an incredible bench between E & D buildings on the bluff). Parking is ample, trash bins are conveniently located, and it's a quick hop to Foodland and Hanalei, or Kilauea in the other direction. Splurge on one dinner at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. With the unit on the 3rd floor walk-up, it's best for the able-bodied, but we found it well-worth the view and not having anyone above us. Would recommend this unit!

What A View!

From the moment we walked into this home and heard the never ending wave break, it was known that we booked the right spot for our Kauai stay. Sealodge is an extremely quiet and cozy complex that’s convenient to everything North Shore. Oh, and the sunrise and moonrise were incredible to view from the lanai!!

Sealodge Paradise

I can’t begin to express how much we enjoyed this beautiful condo at Sealodge. The view could not have been more beautiful—I could not stop looking out the large windows at the vast ocean outside. We enjoyed it so much, in fact, that a few nights we decided just to stay in and eat dinner on the porch so we could enjoy the view. The condo itself was perfect in my opinion. It had a touch of island flair, while having all the necessities for a good trip—clean, comfy bed, good closet space with plenty of hangers, a stocked kitchen, an in-unit washer and dryer, and again, did I mention the view?!! Sealodge is also in a quiet area of Princeville, at the end of a road and on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Just stunning. We will definitely try to rent this unit again if we get back to Kauai—hopefully sooner than later! Thank you to our hosts for providing this lovely place to stay!
