Oak Ridge is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Frozen Head State Park and Arrow Head Park, while American Museum of Science and Energy and Oak Ridge Playhouse are cultural highlights. Children's Museum of Oak Ridge and Oak Ridge Art Center are also worth visiting.
Property was perfect for our Windrock trail riding weekend. Plenty of room to park trucks and trailers and the house accommodated our large group comfortably.
This was the perfect set up for what we need for a job in the area! The views were amazing and acreage was a definite plus! Would highly recommend this property!
Pros: very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful view, good appliances in kitchen and laundry. Cons: considering the cost per night, we expected better dishes (not the cheapest plastic imaginable) and basics like a decent can opener (had to buy), oven mitts (had to buy), shampoo, hand soap for all sinks (had to buy), towel racks or at least hooks in all the bathrooms. Nowhere to hang a towel in two of them.
My employer's executive leadership team needed a place to hold an annual offsite planning session. All of the members of the team ride motorcycles, and we chose to travel to Oak Ridge due to its proximity to excellent riding. This house served us very well. It is close to town yet offers privacy. The views of the surrounding area are great. The location is only a few minutes from restaurants, groceries, and excellent roads for motorcycling. Each of us really enjoyed our time here.
We really enjoyed tho place. We stayed 3 nights. My ONLY complaint would be that we had stink bugs so bad in the large upstairs room. Our guests were not willing to sleep in here. Therefore we had to bring the beds downstairs and pile up downstairs. The bug guy came the next day so we asked him to sort up there. It helped but didn’t reverse the issue. (He did mention it was due to a window being left opened in the room) Otherwise. This property is BEAUTIFUL. The view is PHENOMENAL and the cabin is MASSIVE. I would definitely stay here again !
The home is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen did not have much to cook with make sute to bring your own measuring cups spoons, spatulas and baking pans etc. Had to pick up paper towels and toilet paper which we found out later there was a closet with a box of toilet paper. Not enough towels for 10 people to stay we had our friends who came later in the week to bring a towel. Also the dishwasher was down totally understood but there was not any dish rags or dish towels thankful there was a DG and a Food city just in town. However the home was as presented and beautiful. Would stay again will just be better prepared.
