Great Summer Getaway! Steps to Beach, Ocean views and large wraparound deck

Home is steps from the Guarded 42nd Street Beach, quiet location with ocean views from the large wraparound deck. Our unit is on the top floor so you will have to climb stairs. This is our family home but we are not able to get away as much in the summer. Our home has a primary suite with a king bed, private work space, en-suite bathroom with a tub and a separate shower. Three additional bedrooms; each with queen beds share a full bathroom with glass block enclosure shower and a half bath in the living area. Large living area, dining room and eat in kitchen counter seats 11. Lower level open area is furnished with a large screen TV/DVD with Roku, futon and couch/day bed if you have children that need a little play/sleep space. Fully equipped kitchen with all amenities included. Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, linens, blankets & pillows included. Large wraparound deck with gas grill, 2 outdoor chaises, couch, 2 chairs and coffee table for lounging & gathering for meals. 6 beach passes are also included. Various beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys on premises. 8 Adult bicycles are available for rent. 4 bikes for $100 per stay. $250 deduction from your security deposit if any bikes are lost. Code will be given upon payment by Venmo or Zelle.

Exactly what we needed

We had a very lovely stay. The walk to the beach and walk/drive to the boardwalk, etc was perfect. Hosts were very kind and communicative. House was clean and comfortable. We hope to be able to stay again next year.

Labor Day weekend getaway

The apartment was exactly as advertised, nicely furnished, with a well-appointed, spacious kitchen, and many personal touches, such as attractive art work on the walls and family photos in the bedroom. We also enjoyed the wrap-around porch and its views of the ocean and the wetlands, but be aware that you have many stairs to climb to get to the top floor from the garage level.

Great location

Beautiful property and location! Shore properties always have to deal with lots of issues from salt air, etc. Therefore, problems with sliding doors to deck, chipped paint and rusting grill are hard to keep up with. It is important that renters be aware of 28 steps to the unit and side stairs are easier than those from garage. Otherwise a great experience!

Wonderful stay! Recommend!

Nothing but positives about our stay. Vicky and Tim were very responsive with all communication. Their place was just as advertised, even better in person, plenty of room for us. Location was perfect, only a minute or two walk and you are on the beach (very convenient for our elderly parents). It is within walking distance (2 blocks) from some delicious ice-cream, We wanted a place that we could cook all our meals and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed. The wrap around deck was perfect for dining outside each evening while listening to the ocean waves (yes, you can hear them from the deck). Bath towels and linens are included which was a bonus as we didnt have to pack any of these. This home is on the second floor but stairs were wide and had a landing between flights which was perfect for our elderly parents that dont do well with stairs (they did fine though, just took it slow) . I highly recommend this place and would stay again!

Long weekend getaway

This was our second time staying at this property. The location is perfect just a block from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and open. The deck is great for relaxing. Has all the amenities we need. Hope to be back again next yeat!!

Lovely beach vacation

Our sons and daughter in laws and grandchildren came together for this brief but gorgeous few days at the beach. Short walk to a great beach- beautiful sunsets space for everyone. Lovely deck for outdoor meals. Great layout to the house. Close to perfect

Everything was great. The house was clean and close to the beach like we wanted. We had plenty of room for our entire family. The owner was easy to reach when I had a question and very friendly. It was a great week.

Terrific location just one block from the beach. Clean and well-appointed home with a beautiful wrap-around deck. The kitchen is well stocked. The owners are friendly and very responsive. We had a wonderful family stay and would definitely return.

Great location.

This house is located only one minute walk to the beach. The reason we enjoyed our stay was the location, spaciousness of the place and easy parking. When we arrived we had to clean the surfaces of everything. The couch had some sand on it. If you mind a lot of steps this is not the place for you as its three stories up. The air conditioning did not work well in the master and second bedrooms which made it hard to sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the spa tub was great.

Family Beach Vacation Getaway!

We enjoyed our time at this house that was maintain very well, very spacious, with all the amenities you could ask for. Location was perfect. The family enjoyed early morning walks/runs, immediate access to the beach, enjoying the views from the deck, and relaxing in the home. I especially liked the way the house was decorated

Summer escape

The property was lovely. Perfect for our family reunion. The owners were extremely nice to work with and we totally enjoyed our vacation. It was very close to the beach. The wraparound porch was a delight with a nice view of the beach. It was peaceful with light traffic especially for the summer. When you walk over the dunes to the beach the lifeguard station is right there . It is very family oriented. If you want to go to the boardwalk It is a short drive or Jitney ride. I would highly recommend it.
