Beautiful ocean view from your bed

Beautiful view of the ocean from the bed and balcony. Close walk to beach and amenities. Communication with host is quick and helpful.

Great rental in Los Cabos

Great vacation rental. Property was beautiful, very well maintained. Unit was very well stocked. Zev was great to work with. Centrally located between San Jose and Cabo, a car is a must have. Highly recommend.

Lovely resort, adequate condo

We recently stayed in this condo for 28 days. If you are planning a short trip of only a few days it is adequate, but for a longer stay, look elsewhere. The kitchen is very understocked- not a single knife except for the cutlery, not even a bowl to make a salad in. There is no washer and dryer available, so even a change of sheets in the cupboard would have been nice. It would be nice to have a couple of folding beach chairs and an umbrella so you could visit some of the other beaches if you wanted to. The BBQ on the deck is a charcoal one, and very small. The resort is stunning with lovely gardens, as is the pool are and hotel. If you want a drink by the pool, take your own- there is a higher price from the hotel for "renters" or owners, or hotel guests. If you want to use the fitness room there is a $5 charge per day, even though it is always empty! The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. So if you are only here for a few days, and plan to go out to eat for every meal, you will be fine, but for a longer stay a few more amenities would be nice.

Total misrepresentation. 20 steps to beach is taken from unit in front of La Pearla. This is the poorest unit in Casa del Mar. Arrived with steaks and perishables only to find the smallest bar fridge in existence. Immediately contacted ZEV, Refuses to be reasonable and help us. We booked just 72 hrs prior to arrival. Without my consent he charged the full 2 weeks on VISA not just a deposit. I am well travelled and have never been robbed through VRBO before. We are held hostage in this clearly mis/represented apt. Full kitchen in ad. It has no oven,toaster,freezer,dishwasher or storage. This property manager is not respected at this facility and we are paying the price. kust 3 days prior to arrival ans he b

Nice location, nice resort, nice rental

Cabo is a beautiful destination to spend a week in the sun! Lots of activities available (if you have a vehicle), or just relax by the pool or stroll the beach. The rental property is a studio, which is fine for a week's stay... may want to consider a full unit if you will be entertaining friends. We enjoyed our view of the ocean and the well-manicured grounds of the resort. The unit was well-equipped for cooking our own meals. The only downside was an optional $30 per day fee imposed by the resort if you want to use the restaurant or order drinks by the pool.

Terrific host! Ocean view with quiet location.

Our host Zev was amazing with addressing the issue we had with the AC. Fixed with very little inconvenience. The location is great with only 5 minute walk to the beach. The property is well groomed and we had the pool right in front of the condo to ourselves most of the time. The full size refrigerator was a bonus as we cooked most of our meals "in". Lots of "extras" in the kitchen. The property is conveniently located on the corridor bus route to go to both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo.

wonderful 5 star resort

really upscale resort with an amazing calm and beautiful beach. view from the condo is blue water. there is a really nice quiet reading pool in front of this building and in front of the pool is the beach access. the unit is furnished basic but does the job for a one week stay. it is very clean and well organized. i loved the fact that elevator drops you off at entrance to the condo and downstairs drops you off right at the car so it is very convinient. the communication with Zev and Ximena was wonderful. i would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to come down to this area. Cabo is way too busy so this is a perfect distance from it.

Perfect little condo in glorious location

We just returned from a four day stay in this great little condo in the immaculate complex of Casa del Mar. The condo,which is perfect for a couple or small family, is fully equipped for cooking, and even has a bbq on the sweet little verdandah overlooking the pool. We had many pleasant moments sitting there enjoying the sight and soothing sound of the waves on the Sea of Cortez. The condo is also right next to a super spa and reasonably priced hotel restaurant with delicious food and world class service. Casa del Mar is an immaculately kept resort with beautiful landscaping and lovely fountains. We would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful!

I loved this place- minutes from the beach, private pool and perfectly clean and sized condo. I stayed for 5 nights and couldn't have loved it more. It was the perfect size and had anything I could've needed. Beautiful ocean view from the deck and the Casa Del Mar is a stunning and wonderfully run resort. I can't wait to go back!

Our Stay In Paradise

We stayed here for a week in November and were thourougly thrilled with our experience. We went on the recommendation of friends who were here last year. It was perfect. The condo was clean, well equipped with everything we needed to have our week in paradise. It is located next to a beautifully clean pool, with a gorgeous vew of the ocean from the balcony and steps from the ocean. Buy yur plane tickets immediately.....

GREAT SEA OF CORTEZ VIEW FROM ENTIRE CONDO

this is a great one bedroom that is right by the owners pool and in front of owners pool is the beach and access to it. inside the unit, it is very light and bright and has a great view as It is up on the third floor. the whole casa del mar is awesome and is truly a 5 star experience.

A quiet comfortable little place.

We were there before the season began and during a hurricane so the quiet may be a bit of a contradiction in several ways. The unit is nice and has a pretty view over the pool out to the ocean. We couldn't get the fan to work in the bedroom and the air conditioning is deafening so sleeping at night was a little bit hot - but we're from Alaska so that was part of the reason we were there. It is recommended that you not swim in the ocean anywhere near the hotel (undertow, currents big waves), which was sad. We ended up having to drive to the public snorkeling beaches at Playa Chilean and Santa Maria, which are very good and well run in spite of the hordes of party boats that come in to them and the construction all around them. Make sure to check the fridge temp when you put your stuff in - when we put ours in it was set on high and all our fruits and vegetables froze - a simple fix. Nice attentive staff

Owner great to work with

We had booked this unit for a stay in March and ended up needing to change our plans. The owner Zev was great to work with and flexible - he kindly helped us cancel the booking even though there was a no refund policy. He took care of everything for us. Casa del Mar is a fabulous place to stay - we have stayed twice before and will be back. All of the positive reviews here are quite true and the pictures of the resort are very accurate.

Wonderful vacation just before Alaskan Winter

My husband and I spent 18 wonderful days in October 2013 at Casa Dl Mar in this unit. Zev, the property manager was very easy to work with and accommodating with changing plans as we made airline reservations quite a bit in advance. The accommodations were just right for two people, but can accommodate more with the two beds. The resort is beautiful, clean and inviting. The kitchen accommodations were compact but very workable. We like to cook so the large refrigerator was great after a shopping trip in San Jose del Cabo. We took long walks in the early morning and early evening. The weather was beautiful, which was rare for October. It had rained a couple of weeks before we came and the landscape all the way to La Paz was green and lush with blooming foliage. Casa Del Mar is a great jumping off point for day trips, which for us included La Paz and Todos Santos, a lovely artist and surfing destination on the Pacific Ocean side. We had a wonderful experience at Case Del Mar shortly before departing. The resort harvest’s turtle eggs and incubates them for hatching so that predators do not dig them up. One evening at dusk the hotel staff, trained to handle baby turtles, were releasing a couple hundred turtles to the ocean. This is done at dust to assure that birds and other predators are not around. The resort guests were able to watch the release and take pictures of it. All of the turtles made it to the ocean with our encouragement. It was quite the experience. We hope to return soon.

Looking for another trip to Casa Del Mar

My wife and I were just looking into dates for another trip to Zev's place. We were there in April with our son and had a fantastic trip. Hoping to get back down there in Oct. The facility was amazing, safe and very clean. Beaches were surprisingly empty and we usually took at least one long walk each day. Super location only a short drive to town but extremely quiet when we got back to the condo. Really nice sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean. Nice having a comfortable bed at night as we usually put in some long days. Not really much of a pool person but it was great hanging out at this pool for a few cocktails b/c deck furn was very comfortable and it is big enough that you have the option to be social or find a little space for yourself. If you want a little more lively place at night it is a short stroll down the beach for music and dancing. We are definatly looking forward to our next stay.

A great Vacation

we came down for a week and stayed at Zev's place in La Perla 304. The unit was very nice and looks exactly like the advertisement on VRBO. we are very well travelled and were very impressed with the way the whole experience was handled. The property Management was right there on location and were very helpful when we needed them. Casa Del Mar is an amazing resort. it is very tropical and clean and very exclusive and elegant. the old world mexican architecture and all of the little details make it a faboulous resort. The beach is what impressed us the most. it is right in front of the unit and there are miles of un touched soltitude. we saw lots of various marine mammals and it was just a treat. the romantic dinner at Casa Del Mar on the beach is a must at sunset. the staff are super friendly and all speak english. the view of the sea of Cortez with the sun coming up over it from the bedroom as well as the living room was also a surprize to us. we will definitely book La Perla 304 on our next Casa Del Mar Vacation.

Great unit in cabo...dream on

We went to Cabo and stayed at this unit in April 2010. It was awesome. We had our own stocked kitchen and bar so we saved a lot on food and drink expanse. The elevator made bringing groceries easy, parking is right up front and the unit had a great TV DVD and music, very clean and comfortable. The beds are huge and the balcony is cozy and private so a little morning “sun bathing” in the living room with ocean view. The manager was very responsive and helpful as well. We had a great time there and we are sure to come back soon I hope.

The moment you enter the ...

The moment you enter the grounds of this Condo ,the peace and beauty just surrounds you. Every day My husband and I just loved standing on the balcony whatching the birds, enjoying the flowers and the wonderful view of the sea. The staff in the hotel and great they cannot do enough for you. You are not to far from the town. If you do not want to rent a car . A bus service runs between each town on the corridor. just enjoy. The Unit was just right f...

The Unit was just right for two. The kitchen has everything one would need. There is a TV with what looks like great sound, but we could not find any DVD's in town we wanted to watch. My favorite was the chair and footstool in the bedroom. The weather was bad , but was nice and cozy with a great view. Has a great elevator. The grounds are beautiful the pools outstanding and the beach was good for swimming and walkings. This was a vey good value

Casa Del Mar is by far the most exclusive resort on the corridor which not only offers all the amenities a 5 star resort has! it also offers a plush green tropical landscape that spills right into the sea of Cortez - the setting is strinkly beautiful and captivated me the first time i entered the Casa Del Mar Grounds.

What makes this property unique

I enjoy arriving and staying there. i fill up the unit with basic groceries and usually have dinner at one of the local restaurants and that's it. i have all i need right in front of me.
