We loved this little cabin. It was a nice getaway…the private hot tub, back yard, patio, driveway and grill area. Felt like we were in our own little oasis far from the world for a few days. Host was very kind & welcoming. Can’t wait to be back!!
The cabin was gorgeous. We celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary and we loved every minute. We especially enjoyed the hot-tub-it felt sooooo good-the stress was gone instantly. The living-room was so comfy especially the sofas-after the hot-tub we would watch movies and everything was so relaxing. My husband and I will be back hopefully soon. Thanks,The Wheelers
Almost everything about this cabin was perfect and adorable. Our only complaint is that the water smells so bad that we ultimately chose not to shower. We looked it up and there's something about the amount of sulfur in the ground, so I'm unsure if there is anything that can be done about it. Other than this though, the cabin is perfect for a couple's getaway! The host was the best and communicated well. Cleanliness was top-notch!
We loved it! Chris is a great host and was wonderful with communication. The cabin is lovely and cozy. Only 2 things I would change would be to fix the sulfur water. The smell made me nauseous. Also the bed is extremely uncomfortable. I would buy at least a mattress cover. Besides those two things, it's was great.
This is the perfect little cabin for a 'staycation' away in the woods. We will be returning asap. The host was incredibly generous with communication and amenities.
The cottage was everything we’d hoped for; clean, quiet, and beautiful. We really got to enjoy the few days we spent there, and Chris couldn’t have been a more responsive host. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting to disconnect for a few days!
We enjoyed our time at the “Bear” cabin and the hikes recommended were just what we needed. Everything we needed were in the cabin so it was a convenient stay.
Beautiful cozy cabin and of course, we loved the jacuzzi! The host was great.. provided clear instructions about using the feautures in the cabin, recomendations for local food and entertainment, and nearby outdoor adventures! Also, when we came back from breakfast, the drivway was freshly plowed and cleaned up from the light snowfall the day before! Thanks for a great trip!
Cabin was very nice to stay at and a good deal for the price. Hot tub worked very nicely and is covered so nice even in the rain. Would recommend bringing bottled water though because the water is very sulfur smelling. There was another group staying in the connected cabin but we did not notice at all so they really are very separated.
A lovely cabin tucked away from the road, perfect distance from the Adirondack park while also having access to lots of good restaurants and stores only a short drive away. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy!
