Escape to the peaceful beauty of Rocky Waters Estate, formerly known as Rocky Waters Vineyard & Winery, nestled among the rolling hills of scenic Jo Daviess County. The Fisherman’s Cabin offers a private retreat where you can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer.

Step outside your front door to a private 5-acre stocked lake complete with a sandy beach. Spend your days fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill, swimming, canoeing, or simply relaxing by the water while taking in the beautiful countryside.
The Fisherman’s Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features 4 beds and 3 full bathrooms.

All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels for your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and everything you’ll need to prepare meals during your visit.

Conveniently located just minutes from Elizabeth, Illinois, and approximately 18 miles from Historic Downtown Galena, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of privacy while still being close to shopping, dining, wineries, golf courses, and local attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Our group of 7 people and 2 large dogs thoroughly enjoyed the property. The cabin is located on a large private estate, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature.Our dogs absolutely loved the extensive grounds where they could run, explore, and play freely. The men in our family had a fantastic time fishing and were excited to catch several good-sized fish during our stay.The location offers the perfect balance of privacy and convenience. While the property feels secluded and peaceful, it is still close to the charming town of Galena, where we enjoyed several excellent restaurants and local attractions.This was a memorable getaway for our entire family, including our four-legged companions. Kyle was an extremely welcoming host to my family and I. The property is gorgeous and the seclusion makes the experience very peaceful. My young children had the absolute time of their lives just playing in the lake, walking the property and seeing the wildlife. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. For nearly two decades, we welcomed guests to Rocky Waters as a winery, where countless memories were made over great conversations and beautiful sunsets.
