Large Beach House two rows from the ocean, less than 200 feet to the beach with limited ocean views! Feel the ocean breeze and hear the surf from the wrap around deck! Located in the private, gated community of Oceanside Village which is on the border between Garden City and Surfside Beach, South Carolina. A few minutes walk to the beach !

Our pier home located in a gated resort, Oceanside Village, is 7 miles south of the Pavilion, the heart of Myrtle Beach, and 3 miles north of Murrell's Inlet, where the best seafood can be found. Only a few miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport, just steps from the beach, minutes from golf courses, and just down the street from Pawleys Island to the south and Myrtle Beach to the north! There is private beach front parking for guests in our community that choose to drive the car or golf cart to the beach. There are beachside rest rooms for the residents and guests staying in Oceanside Village.

The house features four bedrooms with two full bathrooms and it has been renovated within the past year. Outside is a large beautiful wrap around deck, feel the ocean breeze in your hair. A very short walk from the house is a private neighborhood gated beach with ample parking. We include a golf cart with the rental of the house and there are golf carts available for rent inside Oceanside Village as well.

Our home includes high speed internet service, a washer and dryer, and dishwasher.

You can relax on the wrap around deck with plenty of outdoor furniture. Under the carport, there is an outside shower.

Also within our gated community are one indoor heated pool, two outdoor pools and a 'mini' water park for the kids which is sure to be a memory-maker! There is a 16 person whirlpool installed by the Hickory Grove pool! An activities center, tennis courts, a basketball court, baseball field, playground, volley ball court, five stocked fishing ponds, horseshoe pits and bocce ball are also available onsite.

You can enjoy the fitness center for an additional fee by signing up at the office onsite. Golf for an additional fee at Tupelo Bay course which is just 4 minute ride or 15 minute walk away across the street from the main gate which also offers nightly Glow Golf.

The home had plenty of room for our family of 8. The ability to have a golf cart to travel around at no extra cost was great. Our family made great use of the cart. And location, what more can you say when you can look out and see the ocean. It was literally 5 minutes, probably less, to walk to the beach.

Perfect vacation house right by the beach!

The house was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids! There was a lot of seating for everyone to hang out and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beach is only a 2 minute walk, but the golf cart made it even easier to bring all of our stuff to the beach! We all really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again!

The house is in a nice neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach. The golf cart made getting around easy. To enter and exit through the gate closest to the beach and to access the parking lot at the beach, you have to purchase a 30 card from the Oceanside Village office and you get 10 back if you return it at the end of your stay. The homeowner thought it was 20 and that you got all 20 back, so I wanted to clarify. The house is nicely decorated and has a well stocked kitchen. However, the living room furniture and mattresses are worn out, stained, and well overdue for replacement. The mattress in the king bedroom has thick foam on top of it and hurt my husband’s back. When I asked if it could be replaced, the homeowner told me to flip it over and see if that helped. When we lifted the thick foam off the mattress, there was a hole in the mattress where a spring had poked through and the other side was badly stained. The box spring in the queen room is falling apart and being held up with boards, and the mattresses in the two twins room are also worn out. The living room couches are old and covered, and you sink down when you sit on them. The chair that isn’t covered is badly stained. It was really a shame because you can tell a lot of money has gone into the upgrades that have been made. The king bedroom was also hot compared to the rest of the house and no hot water for the washer. A few upgrades could make an okay stay a great stay!

Close to the beach

Walk across the street to the beach. We added the golf cart which was nice. My suggestion for this home is that it needs a very good detailed cleaning and cleaning better between stays. The floors got everyone’s feet black, I kept my slippers on. There was a sock in our bedroom floor with dust balls, someone’s bar of soap was in the shower, the stove had food running down in the drawer. The linens need a good wash, you can tell they are not washed often. The furniture in the living room is worn and dated. There was a bad sewer smell in the bath and laundry. This place could be awesome but it needs a very good deep clean and some updates. Owner was responsive to questions.

Great Location!!

Location was great. Fun for the whole family. Short walk to the beach. Golf cart was very handy... The owner was very helpful and checked to see if we got in OK. The only Con for us was that the rooms were a little smaller than we thought they would be. It is worth a stay!!

Disappointing COVID vacation

Great location, nice large deck space with lights for spending time outside at night. Not much provided i.e.linens, towels, hand soaps, etc. The lack of a grill and serving dishes proved challenging if you prefer to eat in. Living room furniture was stained, torn and had filling falling out of it.
