Jennifer and Mathias are friendly, responsive hosts, and their home is perfect for a Hamptons getaway. The location is ideal - very private yet close to Sag Harbor village - and the amenities and decor are top notch. Highly recommend this rental and hope to visit again soon.

1310 Sagg Road

The house was conveniently located, less than two miles from downtown but pushed back off the road feeling very countrified. The house was exquisitely decorated. Contemporary, but with many interesting antiques and impressive artwork. The pool and pool deck were very comfortable. The hosts were very gracious, supplying everything we needed. Numerous dishes, cups, glasses, pots and pans, and such were provided. We had a totally enjoyable and relaxing two week vacation.

Great home nestled in the woods and close to town

My husband and I stayed in this beautifully decorated home for one month. The artwork alone is fascinating and all the attention to detail throughout the house along with the gourmet kitchen were a pleasure to experience. The walk into Sag Harbor is the perfect exercise but since were there during Covid we spent most of our time enjoying the house. We highly recommend this property and also recommend the pleasant dealings with Jennifer and her husband.

Lovely Labor Day Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s home at the beginning of September. The house and property were both charming and beautiful, and in a great location central to town and the other Hamptons. Jennifer was also very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Underwhelmed

I rented this house for a month and had to vacate after 8 days. The owner has a cat (not disclosed) and there was cat hair everywhere. I had to use a lint brush as an attempt to lift the cat hair from the furniture. The house is rundown, not clean and has a insect problem (large spiders, earwigs and ants)! There were cobwebs from the floors to the corners of the high ceilings. We couldn’t use the entire downstairs sleep area because it was infested with earwigs. This house is located in a woodsy area and we found several ticks on us. I have never had an issue with any VRBO I have rented and was extremely disappointed with this house.

We are sorry that you were disappointed in our lovely house. We very much appreciated your kind comments at the beginning of your stay that the house was “more beautiful in person than even on the website.” We assume that your sudden departure after eight days was occasioned by some event unconnected to the house. The house on your arrival was in immaculate condition. It was cleaned following the VRBO COVID protocol. Photos were taken of the house the day of your check-in showing it in spotless condition. VRBO also has copies of the photos. The house is located in the Hamptons on several acres of land. In nature you do get some bugs like ants and mosquitos. We provided bug spray for the outdoors and had Nardy Pest Control spray the outdoors for the few ants and spiders. We have an excellent maid service who also tried to accommodate you. We pride ourselves on providing a beautiful, clean and comfortable home with full amenities so that everything is thought of and provided to ensure a wonderful relaxing vacation close to some of the the worlds best beaches.
