The accommodations are small for four persons, but quite adequate for two. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are very nice.. Though the garage is very small, we parked in it quite well. The walk to the small beach is short and easy.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much. It was peaceful but also near the main route to our planned activities (kayaking and a whale watch). The owner has provided everything one might need while traveling and the place was super clean. The only tricky thing was the parking. We had a Subaru with two kayaks on top and it took us a few tries to get the hang of tucking into the space provided. The owner clearly communicated about this situation, which helped.
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is a few minutes walk to Plum Cove Beach which we enjoyed rather than trying to deal with parking for one of the larger beaches. The cottage looks as featured in the photos. It is clean and equipped for making meals. The parking spot next to the garage is small. Circumstances made it so we had to bring our large truck, and we had great difficulty getting it to fit in the space enough to be off the road. The street is also one lane, narrow, and a dead end which didn’t help the parking spot situation for us. Needless to say, bring a small car as they advise!
This was such a cute little place! We enjoyed our Birthday getaway! It was easy to get around the area too. Parking was small, but thanks to the other reviews we brought the car so we were ok.
Perfect tiny house! View to water obscured by trees and property from house, but the driveway/road to the house has a clear view. Very quiet, short road. Neighbors did not seem to be in residence. Short walk to plumb cove beach- enjoyed sunset there every night. Small refrigerator, but refrigerator/freezer drawers doubled that space! Spiral staircase is steep, so if you fear heights or have mobility issues, this might not be for you. Lots of light in every corner! King bed comfortable, and AC kept very cool. Comfortable couch, smart tv works great. Surprising closet and storage space in the little cottage! Highly recommend!
We had a great time 3 night stay absolutely wonderful place extremely clean and comfy and homey nice and quiet. Everything you need to make meals and very well equipped with quality stuff. We will definitely be going back this Summer.
We had a great stay in Gloucester -as prior reviews noted, parking was a bit tight with a large vehicle but we were able to figure it out and a minor issue. The cottage was clean, comfortable, private-- a very sweet place to come home to after sunset at the nearby cove. Loved exploring Halibut Point, Gloucester, Rockport, etc. What a gorgeous spot!
Adorable property. Accurate description of the kitchen and the property. The kitchen was amazing. We would love to go back!

I booked this place because it was advertised as a "majestic" king cottage. The first picture shows a lovely looking Stone cottage with a smooth gravel path leading up to it, but when I arrived, the only "stone cottage" was a very small garage made out of stone. I was very disoriented at first, but then I finally figured out that number 2 where I was actually staying was the small wooden building up the hill. That was a second problem for me, as I had expected a smooth level gravel path and what I got was a series of old uneven slate steps winding up a boulder to the "cottage.I struggled to make it up these steps carrying my luggage. I had to punt and walk up the grass. When I finally made it up to the wooden building, there were two slate steps with no railing! So the two issues for me were false advertising and lack of accessibility. Oh and the neighbor next door yelled at me while I was in the middle of trying to park my car. Very difficult Lack of space! ( Which you did warn us about but it still was really unpleasant). The patio was dirty and uninviting However, once I was safely inside ( phew!) the cottage was clean updated and really lovely to be in!
Very clean and quiet. Perfect for a two night stay. TV system was a bit challenging to navigate but we figured it out. Good location close to the beach and great seafood nearby.
Very nice little cottage, perfect for a couple to stay for the weekend. Parking is tight for a large vehicle, but the location was beautiful. All in all a great stay, thanks. Complimentary coffee and tea was a welcome touch.
Everything was perfect. Relaxing get-away, close enough to beaches shops and restaurants, in a quiet location, with beautiful sunsets, just steps away. Can't wait to return.
Cottage was adorable! Super clean annd comfortable! We had everything we needed! Great communication with owner who even found friends of our a place to stay right down the street! The only thing is parking is super tight if you have a bigger car, truck or SUV
