Newer Cabin with Mountain Views, Near Lakes, Golf

New (Fall 2006), two bedroom, mountain cabin near Young Harris and Hiawassee, Georgia. Great room/kitchen with 15-foot cathedral ceiling, master bedroom, guest bedroom, and laundry all on one floor. Long-range views of Brasstown Bald (highest point in Georgia) from all rooms and balcony. Beautiful natural wood floor and trim, stone fireplace.

Cabin is at end of paved road, adjacent to large woods with hiking trails. Five minutes to Brasstown Resort/Golf Course, 10 minutes to Lake Chatuge Marina, 25 minutes to Murphy, North Carolina.

This is a wonderful cabin . The deer and hummingbirds come to the yard to see. It is very clean wirh comfortable beds. Great quiet location right behind William Holland lapidary school. Great quiet location not far from town of Young Harris Ga. We will definetly return.

Our stay was PERFECT! The cabin was so clean and cozy. The fireplace and the view was heaven. There was so much attention to detail - we had everything we needed including a ton of spices for cooking. Our host was very communicative and we are hoping to go back again soon. The place is conveniently located for day trips to Blue Ridge and Helen. Both were adorable towns - especially decorated for Christmas!We had a couple of white tail deer make appearances outside the cabin and even saw a black bear heading down the mountain. HE WAS STUNNING! If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway - this is it!

Great Mountain Getaway

This house was just what we needed for a long weekend in the mountains. It was easy to find (with the host’s excellent directions), convenient to area attractions, clean and comfortable, and had an excellent mountain view on the large back deck.

The Perfect Location

The cabin was the perfect location for attending the Lapidary school next door. The cabin met all our needs with the separated two bedrooms. The beautiful view off the back deck made it hard to leave the cabin.

Awesome experience

Cabin was clean, well stocked and was nicely secluded. It was close to many places but just far enough to be private. Bed was extremely comfortable and the view of the mountains was awesome! Loved the back porch/balcony. Gas fireplace was soooo comfy! Thanks for sharing your lovely cabin! :)
