This newly updated beach house is situated in an ideal location with a gulf-view in historic Grayton Beach. Offering 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, Sand Dollar sleeps 10-12 guests. Located only about 250 yards to the beach access, the white sand and refreshing emerald waters are a mere 5 minute walk away.

The main level welcomes you to an open floor plan with a spacious living room boasting windows and doors that let in abundant natural light. The kitchen features everything the home chef will need to whip up meals for the whole group including stainless steel appliances, a 6-burner gas range and dual oven, a breakfast bar and pantry. The main level has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom and one bedroom with two Full beds. On the third level you can find a spacious Master bedroom with a King bed, private bathroom that has a large walk in shower, jetted garden tub, and dual vanities. The master bedroom also has a Queen sofa sleeper and a large walk in closet. Off of the Master bedroom you can enjoy partial gulf-views from the covered balcony. Sand Dollar’s lower level offers a large private pool, plenty of pool and patio furniture, and a covered terrace with room to eat and play. Make use of the convenient half pool bath house and outdoor shower before heading back in after a day in the sun.

Great stay in Grayton Beach!

Highly recommend the Sand Dollar! Kitchen had lots of options for cookware. Short 5 min walk to the beach. Pool was a great amenity! Master suite on the 3rd floor was incredible.

Best place on the Gulf

Love Grayton Beach. Would recommend that cleaning on units be upgraded. Some items are in desperate need of cleaning.

Not much of a view, mostly dunes and neighbors.

Nice clean home. Short walk to beach. Construction next door. Overall, nice and cozy, but not much privacy. Lots of traffic on street.

Sand Dollar at Grayton Beach

The house was lovely and the kids enjoyed the pool. However, there was no Internet so no WiFi. Also, the ice maker only worked intermittently and the dryer didn’t get anything dry. Ocean Reef employees were polite and sent people to check on the problems. When we left nothing had been fixed. As far as I know, everything was waiting for a Technician to come and do the repair.

Comfortable & Well Appointed

We would rent 'Sand Dollar' again. Although you must bring everything, even a salt shaker and the toilet paper, the kitchen and house were well appointed with all you need to cook your meals and gather your family & friends. The internet connection is very slow, so if someone in your group needs to work for the day- this will be a problem- as it was with one member of our group. We found the house well cleaned, enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to the beach. The biggest negative is the Saturday- Saturday arrival and departure, as you are on very crowded roads, taking much longer to arrive than if you had traveled on a different day. I would pay an up-charge to shift arrival and departure by one day to avoid the congestion. Overall- great stay

Awesome Property!

We had a fantastic stay at the Sand Dollar! We traveled during the gradual reopening post COVID-19 and were looking for something large enough to accommodate 8 people, close enough to walk to the beach, with a kitchen large enough to allow us to eat in every day. That was exactly what we got at the Sand Dollar. This house is so well appointed. It had every kitchen tool needed (and then some). Living space was super large and bedding very comfortable. Our kids absolutely adored the pool. Overall, the house was spotless. The walk to the beach was even shorter than we were anticipating based on Google Maps. Host responsiveness was excellent. Every detail seemed taken care of in anticipation of our arrival. All of this to say, I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking to visit one of the country's most beautiful beaches. This house will take great care of you while you're there.

Overall, Would Not Recommend

While our interaction with Ocean Reef was pleasant and helpful, overall we would not recommend or revisit this property. The property is in need of some deep cleaning, painting, and repairs. The grill was in a terrible state when we got there but thankfully a member of our group was brave enough to clean it. We noticed some of the fence posts around the property were falling down and the shrubbery leading down the stairs to the pool needed a good trim. Inside the house was generally acceptable, except the furniture and surfaces in the living room and kitchen were grimy and some had an odor. Ocean Reef did re-vacuum, mop the floors, and replace the broken vacuum for us, which was helpful. However, for the price, we were expecting a better maintained property.

Nice House and Pool

Master Suite is upstairs - it’s huge. 3 bedrooms on main level are pretty close together, so just be aware. Pool is great. It’s a fairly vigorous walk to the beach, but walkable. Comfy couches and good tv/sound.
