3 Bdrm Quintessential Cabin in the Woods On a Creek Sleeps 5
Privacy and charm with a touch of luxury, this cabin is the perfect Tahoe retreat in the woods! Dine on the wrap around deck adjacent to a year round creek. Eliminate stress with a soak in your creek-side spa and enjoy the warmth and coziness of the real wood-burning stove in the winter while you watch the snow fall through the massive living room windows. This is truly a gem! *There is a max of 5 people including children/babies in the home at any time. There are absolutely no exceptions.
*Please note this home has a steep driveway and you will need AWD, 4WD or chains to access during the winter.
*Please note: We have had multiple inquiries on an outdoor grill, unfortunately we are in a very high bear zone and outdoor cooking, and leaving a grill will encourage even more activity.
We appreciate all guests being respectful of the property and the neighbors. Please no loud parties and no more than 2 vehicles on the property at any time. Please leave the premises in good order at the conclusion of your rental to ensure Cleaning crew can complete their normal duties and security deposit can be promptly refunded.
Family Friendly - We encourage families to enjoy our cabin however we do require strict supervision of minors, particularly toddlers and infants when using the hot tub. Please be careful.

The property was beautiful and private. The owners were so kind and responsive and help with access to the beach. Wake up to the birds chirping and go to sleep with a view of the stars out the bedroom window! Would definitely recommend and will book again soon!
This place was a really nice setup for our family on a ski weekend. Located close to everything we needed and tucked back off the road at the same time. As advertised with all the amenities you could need for a fun weekend. Kids loved the hot tub and having their own space. Recommend to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!
We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and cozy. Close to all the shops, restaurants and beach. The property owners were so kind and delightful to communicate with. We would love to stay there again!
Wonderful home on a Beautiful property!
Clean, quiet with all the amenities you need for a wonderful stay. Owners provided detailed instructions and easy to contact for questions.
We can’t wait to return.
This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. Rustic and charming, but will all the best amenities - heated floors and an amazing shower in one bathroom and a gorgeous claw foot tub in the other. All the bedrooms are a great size. The kitchen is fantastic. Gorgeous grounds. Amazing hot tub. And the most accommodating and communicative hosts.
This is one of our favorite stays ever! The house is beautiful, upgraded and very nicely decorated. It has many amenities and a well-equipped kitchen to make the stay comfortable and convenient. The best part was the hot-tub outside and the bubbling stream in backyard. The neighborhood is super nice and makes for good walks -- ocean views from some parts. Finally, the hosts were amazing to work with!

Very comfortable and well cared for home
Our hosts were very responsive, thoughtful and organized. They gave us all information we could ask for without even needing to ask! The charming home was stocked with everything we needed to make meals, everything very clean and in good condition. A very comfortable home in a nice neighborhood. We would be happy to plan a stay here again!
We loved everything about this cabin in the woods. Especially the walk-in shower, heated bathroom floor, secluded hot tub next to a little meandering creek and open floor plan. We also appreciated being on the edge of town but less than 10 minutes from a grocery store and restaurants. We brought our own paddle boards and spent most of our time paddle boarding and swimming around the little coves south of Sand Harbor. We definitely recommend this lovely cabin and we’re so happy we stayed in Incline Village.
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Lake Tahoe for a week this summer. My husband and I visited 17yrs ago during the winter for the first time via a work trip and vowed to return. It took a while, but well worth it. We stayed at this property along with our adult son and his girlfriend. It was a perfect location and easy to get to everything from the lake to golfing, hiking, biking and more. The hot tub was enjoyed daily after our activities. Pretty much everything one would need for a comfortable and enjoyable trip!
Laura was great! Very responsive, helpful and accommodating.
The only bad thing was it coming to an end and having to leave. Hopefully we'll be back some day!
Cabin is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood just a short drive to town for groceries or restaurants. I even got a massage in town one day. Drive to a great beach (Sand Harbor) at the Lake in 15 min, where your can rent kayaks, SUPs.
Bedding and furniture is clean and comfortable. We slept great, to the sound of a running stream in the backyard. Amazing hot tub in back. Kitchen fully equipped. Easy check in. Communication with owners exceptional.
We were warned of bear activity and took it seriously. Kept doors locked and NO food left outside or in car!
Eric and Laura's cabin in Incline Village is so beautiful! I spent a week there honeymooning in the late summer and everything about it was perfect. The trees, the creek and the surrounding nature are absolutely stunning and so wonderful to soak in from the hot tub. We were delighted that the hot tub was clean and in great condition as well. All of the rooms were clean and cozy and the house overall had a good balance of modern appliances but still maintained a traditional cabin feeling. We ended our nights with a fire in the wood burning stove. The wood and kindling on the site is such a great amenity as well! It is bear country so it's best to be cautious about food but I was very grateful that the owner's instructions in the email and around the house were clear and concise. They definitely gave us assurance. Communication with the owners was great and when I let them know that we were excited to spend our honeymoon at their property, they surprised us with a nice bottle of prosecco and a congratulations card on the table!
All in all, my husband and I both agree that this was our favorite trip ever. It's in a great location like 10 minutes from the lake and like 20 minutes to Sand Harbor – the most spectacular beach on the lake in my opinion. Not far from cute shops and restaurants and rentals and whatever recreation suits you. It was a beautiful stay and we look forward to returning to Incline Village soon!
The house would have been fine, but I wish the host had handled things differently. My daughter and I arrived after sundown, and not only was the street dark but there were no numbers visible on the houses. Based on our GPS we tried to use the security code on the front door, but it was the wrong house! The neighbor yelled at us through the door, and it was a scary experience for both my daughter and me. When I contacted the host to help us find the right house, she laughed and didn't seem to recognize, much less empathize with, how frightening that experience was and how tragic it could have become. I know that this doesn't reflect the condition of the house, but it did negatively affect our experience. In a practical sense, I wish they had given more detailed descriptions of the house ("3rd one on the right" or "go up a long driveway") or had well-lit numbers posted. She did contact us about how the plows handled her driveway, but it was after the snow had already fallen so I wouldn't have been able to do anything differently. Again--the house is nice; I just wish there had been more care shown from the host, and that mattered to me.
Absolutely Perfect! Best place in Tahoe straight up!
Cabin is simply perfect. Like wow! Thank you for letting us stay at your amazing cabin it was incredible. Everything is so intentional so well designed and thought out. Very appreciative and feeling lucky we found it! If we ever come back to Tahoe we’re only staying here 100. (btw i think this is my first vrbo review ever and it was that good I had to leave one
Such a unique property by a calming creek in the middle of the Tahoe trees. It’s close enough to be part of incline but up a hill enough to feel remote. The house is a quaint cabin with a wrap-around deck and “great room” that’s perfect for hanging out. Kids loved the toy boxes and the fire stick is perfect for movie nights. Wonderful property!
Four of us stayed at the house during a ski trip. The location is great - easy to get to restaurants in Incline Village and the surrounding ski areas but still peaceful with the trees and creek in the back. The communication with the owners was great and the check-in/check-our process could not have been easier.
My family enjoyed a comfortable week in this beautiful, cozy cabin.
Check in was easy, cabin was clean, lay out was perfect with a well appointed modern kitchen to prepare daily breakfast and dinner. The hot tub was so nice to enjoy after a day of xc skiing at near by Tahoe Donner and Royal Gorge or downhill skiing at Squaw Valley. Relaxing after dinner with a cozy woodstove burning was a nice way to end the day. The beds were very comfortable to get into after a day of outdoor fun and the peaceful, quiet wooded setting ensures for a good nights sleep. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this wonderful cabin.
It was perfect for our family while we were in Incline Village for a wedding! So cute and comfortable. My two year old loved the toy box and was content playing the entire time!!!
