Beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bath lake home with great views. Within walking distance to public beach, hiking and a short drive to several ski resorts, shopping, dining and water sports. Enter directly off N. Lake Blvd., with plenty of parking and a 2 car carport.
Updated and modern feel while maintaining the authentic Tahoe lake house feel. Large deck to enjoy outdoor dining and relaxing. Two bedrooms upstairs and one down make it a comfortable configuration. Open floorpan kitchen, dining and living space so guests can all be together in plenty of space

Noise carries in the mountain and we have a strict HOA so noise cannot be tolerated after 8p. We have a very particular neighbor. As we are set up from the road, we do get road noise -

We had a great stay at this house on Lake Tahoe! It was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, the location was great, and there was plenty of space for six adults. There is a road in between the house and the lake, so there was a fair amount of road noise, but it wasn't too bad. The host was friendly and communicative, which was a big help. Would happily stay here again.

This house was perfect for my family. Beautifully renovated, plenty of cook ware. We ate in every night. Only downside was the busy road (which I knew before booking) and how bright the master bedroom is in the morning due to vaulted ceiling with high windows and no coverings. Overall it’s a fantastic home, manager is responsive and we loved our stay.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy house in Carnelian Bay. The house was clean and well equipped, and though we were warned by other reviews about street noise, it really only impacted the king bedroom upstairs. My husband and I use earplugs and/or ambient sound when sleeping and it was not an issue for us personally. I texted Kathleen about the icy driveway our first morning in town (it had been plowed the day before but there was subsequent snowfall which froze overnight) and within hours a handyman had cleared and salted the driveway for us. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Kathleen!

Great for a weekend trip with friends!

The location of this place is perfect! It’s fairly central to most things to see and do in Lake Tahoe. The house was super clean and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very spacious! Communication with the owner was very helpful! They even went out of their way and sent us an alert about some weather advisor to make sure that we were safe. Highly recommend for groups of 5 or less looking for a fun weekend trip in Tahoe!

Perfect Stay in Beautiful Carnelian Bay!

We rented Kathleen’s beautiful home in Carnelian Bay from June 29th through July 6th, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The house was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing vacation.We stayed there with our beautiful family (a family of six) and made so many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. The location was perfect — close enough to easily explore places like South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Valley (both about an hour away), yet tucked away in a peaceful area that felt like the perfect Lake Tahoe getaway.Kathleen herself was fantastic to work with: super helpful, sweet, and attentive. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into making sure her guests have a great stay.We truly loved everything about this house and can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-located, and comfortable place to stay in Tahoe, this is it!

Great property and very clean!

My family planned a Christmas vacation and rented this house. Unfortunately the family got flu a week before the vacation. I contacted Kat and she kindly allowed us to move our vacation by one day so the family got time to recover completely. This played a key factor for our great vacation! The house is very clean and cozy! The only thing was that our stay overlapped with heavy snow days, which caused some noise during early morning from the street cleaning by the city. But only one room facing the street was affected by the noise. Overall this is a great place!
