We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for family business and wanted to stay somewhere that felt like a home. We liked the size of the property and amenities. It was clean and spacious. Our baby enjoyed running around the house. It was cold out so we didn't use the outside amenities. The master bed was comfortable. The location of the property offered lake views and short drive to downtown Rockwall.

Kids loved it!!

We had the best time! Our kids ranging from 18 years old to 4 years old, had a blast and didn't want to leave. We had an issue with getting into the house because of dead batteries but host quickly came to the rescue and got us in.

Booked this property for my best friend and me to do a staycation girls' hot tub night. The property was very clean and orderly. The host was even kind enough to have the hot tub nice and hot when we arrived. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The open floor plan was great! The kitchen was well stocked, including spices and other cooking needs, a great coffee bar, ample cleaning supplies, and dishware. The bathrooms were very nice, and the host even had blow-dryers and other accessories for the guests, if needed. The property had plenty of extra towels, pillows, and blankets. The beds were comfortable. There were a lot of nice extras that made the stay so pleasant. In the closets, there were robes and slippers. A nice grill and fire-pit area with extra propane. A fun gameroom, etc. The check-in and check-out are easy, and the host replied to me within minutes every time I contacted her. I am already planning on another stay.

Good and Bad

Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. No hot water the first night. No instruction manual. Ice maker was broken, coffee maker needs descaling, and the hot tub water was cloudy. Owner kept asking if everything was ok but didn’t do much to fix anything, other than the hot water heater.

Perfect for kids!

My family, ages ranging from 1-56, and I stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay! Home was as described and there was plenty of room for all. Location and neighborhood are safe and family friendly. The game room is a modified garage but was well stocked with games and things to do. My 7 yo grandson loved the basketball game and the adults loved ping pong! The high chair and portable crib were lifesavers for my 1 year old grandson; we appreciated not having to bring from home. We did have to clear off the lower 2 shelves in the living room for said 1 year old 😉. The backyard and play set were also well used. Communication with Joy, our host, was plentiful and pleasant. There were plenty of linens for all, extra toothbrushes and some other amenities that made our stay more pleasant. We look forward to returning in the future and would recommend to others.

Super fun and relaxing place to stay!

We were traveling for a wedding with our family that includes 3 teenage boys, and I was drawn to this property because of the game room, which is a converted garage. Turns out the pictured foosball table wasn't actually there, and the scoring device on the basketball game was broken, reducing the fun it provided. But ping pong was fun, and any disappointment faded quickly when we saw the hot tub, which was not listed or expected! It's a nice 4-person hot tub and it was super relaxing. Add in the outdoor playset (again not pictured but included!) the fire table and rest of the outdoor fun, and the outdoor oasis definitely delivered! The two large flat-screen smart TVs, wonderfully appointed kitchen, and spacious master bath shower with rainfall shower head made the indoors just as comfortable and relaxing as the outdoors. The place was clean, check-in and check-out were simple and easy, and communication with the owner/manager was quick and effective. We would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We felt in love with this house at first site because we love the white wash bricks that we don't usually see in California. We also love the wood accent wall and the barn-door. We were excited to have our own modern farm house style house that we can decorate like Joanna and Chip Gaines.

What makes this property unique

We love the view of the lake while eating at the dining room table. We enjoy the short walk or bike ride to the lake. It is so peaceful to walk around in the neighborhood with so many mature trees and beautiful houses to look at.
