Villa in the heart of green Provence (private pool, 8 people)

This country house is perfect for nature lovers; indeed with its land of more than 1 hectare, it has a magnificent field of olive trees and a wooded plot that extends to the garrigue, it is located 2 km from the center of the picturesque village of Varages.
This house benefits from all the facilities necessary for a successful stay. In particular, it has two salons. The equipped kitchen includes an oven, a microwave, a capsule coffee maker, a dishwasher, a refrigerator ...
This accommodation has two bedrooms with a double bed each, one bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom with a bunk bed. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub and the other has a walk-in shower. In addition the house has a utility room and two separate WCs. You can also enjoy a large bright veranda nicely furnished with a living room and dining area.
You can also take your meals outside in the shade of the oaks where there is a gas barbecue and a large garden table (10 people max). For the sportsmen, a ground of balls and a table-tennis table are at your disposal.
Finally, deckchairs will be waiting for you by the pool to enjoy the sun and the song of the cicadas.

Varages is located halfway between Haut Var and the Mediterranean coast to the south. 1 hour from Varages you will taste the charm of Provencal villages
(Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Cotignac, Salernes, Aups) and the beauty of the Lac de Sainte-Croix and the Verdon gorges. Heading south, you will enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Cassis creeks, and the pristine sand of the wild beaches of the island of Porquerolles.
On the picturesque side, many small Provencal markets are held every day of the week in the surrounding villages. A restaurant of traditional French cuisine "Provence" is located on the very square of the village of Varages. You will also find there a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store and a pharmacy. Several other shops are in Barjols, a 10-minute drive away. Finally for wine lovers, estates and cellars will make you taste their Provence wines.

Peace in Provence

This house is delightful - set in the countryside on a hill above the village. It feels really private and there's loads of space, with a pool, shaded outside sitting areas with a gas BBQ, and air conditioning inside the building. It is surrounded by olive trees, with a place to play boules and a table-tennis table. The kitchen has everything you need and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful - they left us some of their own olive oil and a welcoming bottle of wine. The road to the property is a bit rough once you get to the top of the hill, but is no problem for any car - you just have to take it reasonably slowly - and it's a nice walk down to the village if you want to go by foot (although a fair amount of exercise when you walk back up). The pretty village has a shop, a boulangerie, a pizza shop and a butchers, plus a couple of nice cafes. Highly recommended.

Merci aux propriétaires pour l'accueil. La propriété est tout simplement parfaite pour se ressourcer. La maison est très propre et fonctionnelle. L'extérieur est d'un calme absolu sans vis-à-vis. Le village de Varages est très sympa avec tout ce qu'il faut (boulangerie, boucherie, restaurant...).Prévoir tout de même de l'anti moustique.

Nous cherchions un havre de paix pour 15 jours et nous l’avons trouvé. Tout est fait pour se reposer et pour passer de bons moments, piscine, pétanque, ping-pong…La maison est très spacieuse et fonctionnelle, très bien équipée.Nous avons passé de très bons moments.

Hébergement conforme au descriptif avec vraiment tout à disposition : équipement + que complet en cuisine, 2 frigos, jeux de société, raquettes ping pong et autres, boules, bibliothèque etc... (comme à la maison !) Vacances idéales pour visiter la Provence et le Verdon proche d'un charmant village avec tout le nécessaire dont la fameuse place avec ses platanes. Les hôtes sont charmants !

Grand terrain planté d'oliviers, calme, maison fraîche même sans la climatisation, tout de plein pied, les pièces sont spacieuses ; deux corridors distincts séparent 2x2 chambres + wc + sdb, ce qui est bien pratique. Belle grande piscine. A proximité d'un village calme et charmant loin de l'agitation touristique. Mais tout cela n'est rien comparé à la gentillesse, la disponibilité et la serviabilité des hôtes. Merci beaucoup à eux pour leurs petits cadeaux de bienvenue !

Sfeervolle locatie in de groene Provence. Het huis is goed onderhouden en zeer schoon. Alles is aanwezig om een fijne tijd te hebben. De omgeving is rustig, met heel veel ruimte in en om het huis. Heerlijk zwembad om van te genieten, buitenruimte is geschikt om gezellige maaltijden te houden. De weg de berg op is een klein avontuur, maar de beloning is groot! De eigenaars zijn bereidt om uw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Quel merveilleux moments passés dans cette propriété !! Un accueil exceptionnel par Céline et son mari. Une maison spacieuse, très bien entretenue et pleine de charme, au calme et entourée d’un parc exceptionnel. Une grande piscine qui a fait le bonheur des adultes et des enfants. Prima vakantie adres in Corona tijd

Mooi groot huis met lekker eigen zwembad op groot stuk land. Afgelegen op de berg bij een klein dorpje. Huis is goed uitgerust. Het was bij ons erg warm en dan is het huis met beperkte airco ook wel warm, maar dat hoort erbij. Dorpje was klein maar wel met lekke restaurant, bakker en pleintje met terras. In de buurt zijn verder geen grote steden en het is dus een uitdaging om iets te bezoeken. Voor rust en ruimte is het ideaal.

Espace et sérénité

Grande maison agréable et que d’espace extérieur! Entre la piscine, le salon d’exterieur, le boulodrome, le Ping Ping, le hamac et la grande table conviviale, tout le monde trouve son compte au soleil ou sous la fraîcheur des arbres. Si un orage venait à éclater, on peut se retrouver tous ensemble à l’intérieur sans se marcher sur les pieds, les 3 salons permettant même que petits et grands procèdent à des activités ou visionnages différents sans se gêner. Si l’acces au village demande d’aimer les virages, on y trouve un couple charmant à la boucherie avec des produits de qualité et une boulangerie ouverte 7/7. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et remercions nos hôtes bien sympathiques!
