About this property
Hula Hale - Walk to Cafe - At start of the Road to Hana
Our little "Hula Hale" is small but very special. It has everything you need for your visit to Maui's North Shore. A private studio with private entrance and bath, as well as a large, tropical, and completely private garden with covered lanai. The Hula Hale is the ideal home-base for your Maui adventures! This is a great spot to stay while exploring the Road to Hana as well as Haleakala National Park. Most of our guests spend 3-4 days on this side of the island and another 3-4 on the other side (Kihei, Lahaina, Kaanapali). You will find that Maui's north shore, and our town of Haiku, is cooler, more lush and much less touristy than the other side of the island and is worth a visit.
The "Hula Hale" is a small attached studio with its own private parking, garden, bath, and covered lanai. It is the perfect home base for your north shore Maui adventures. We are fully licensed by the County of Maui B&B and have been actively hosting guests for over 10 years.
A recent review from another site: May 2025 For me and my husband, the Hula Hale was perfect. When we arrived it was almost too hard to leave to explore Maui. The kitchenette was fully stocked. The bathroom was clean and had amenities if you needed anything. The bed was so comfortable. The fan and option to have the window and door open with screens closed made it nice and cool. The lanai was so beautiful, private and quiet except for the lovely rain showers. It’s located in a really beautiful part of Maui close to charming towns and great shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend friends or family to stay here.
The garden includes a cooler, beach towels and beach chairs as well.
