Lovely peaceful location with amazing views of the mountains

We spent a week in August at the house. The owner was very friendly and helpful and covered our bikes with plastic when it rained. The large terrace has amazing views. The house is spacious with a lovely indoor dining table with views also. We thought it was nicer than it looked from the photos. It is in a quiet part of the village near the top. We cycled down to the lake and it is only a five min ride down to the cycle path. It is up hill on the way back from the lake so would be challenging for young children (our 12 year old could do it with a couple of stops). Would recommend staying here for a relaxing holiday near the beautiful lake with incredible scenery!!

Chapron

We enjoyed our stay. One bedroom was good but cluttered with hosts belongings, Second bedroom was poor, bed too small , too cluttered with hosts belongings, wardrobe was inaccessible, what was accessible only had two hangers, headroom inadequate and dangerous. Lamps didn’t work . Major issue NO BEDDING or zzz towels. We were informed of no linen on the day before we arrived when we were already in France. Kith hen freezer totally stocked with owners food. Would NOT recommend this properly

971 / 5,000 Good evening Anne-Marie, I'm back from my trip and only just read the review of your August stay in my house today. I'm delighted that you had a good stay. However, I'm sorry to read that you were short on space; this is the first time (since 2017) that I've read that comment! The house is 100m², and you lived there with your husband and son. And, for 3 people, you had 2 bedrooms with 140x190cm double beds; 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 3 wardrobes, drawers at your disposal, including in the bathrooms; a fully equipped kitchen; a living room with a sofa bed; a dining room with a table that seats 10! A 60m² terrace with 2 tables: one on the sunny side and one on the shadier side. A parking space, etc. So, while I'm very surprised by your comment, I sincerely hope you find what you were missing on your next vacation. Sincerely, Bernadette Buffat
