This beautiful Spacious woodland cabin is nestled among the boulders and trees of Sequoyah Village in the Shadow of Rich Mountain in Townsend, Tennessee.
Located only moments from The Cades Cove entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Cades Cove Visitors Center, Tuckaleechee Caverns, and the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center. This wonderful getaway offers tons of space for couples or a small family. The cabin is tucked away in the Laurel Valley mountain community and wraps around the Wild Laurel Golf Course ( formally the Laurel Valley Golf Course). Enjoy the peaceful side of the Smokies in Townsend, Tennessee. This lovely cabin is decorated in a National Park Theme and is an open and spacious floorplan to accommodate couples or a small family. Start your mornings with coffee in the Sunroom looking out the wall of glass into a wooded and boulder studded paradise. Wildlife abounds here so keep your eyes peeled! The kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals or walk out onto the screened in porch to grill your steak for dinner. After a long hike in the park, or a day’s drive enjoying the sights and sounds of the Smokies, retreat to the cabin for a quiet meal and a long soak in the indoor hot tub. Watch a little television on the large screen tv and slip into the luxury king size bed dressed for comfort and a great night’s sleep. The cabin is awesome! Everything anyone would need to spend a few days. The bed is comfortable, we love the front room, hot tub and large sitting area where we played guitars, and read. A plus is 2 full bathrooms with walk in showers. The screened in porch is another of our favorites for cofee in the mornings. 2nd time in this cabin, 3 times in one of the other cabins, Will return next spring.

We had a fantastic time with family. Our goal was to be somewhat close to Gatlinburg and this was not at all close. However we enjoyed the value with many amenities and closeness to the Smokies park entrance. The hot tub took a long time to heat up and had to stay on to be ready for us which in turn was both loud and quite humid inside. A cover would go a long way in helping contain the humidity and maintain the water temperature. All in all, we were very pleased with the experience. Our dog ended up causing some minor damage and I was impressed with rhe way management handled the situation. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

I wanted to take an opportunity to help you understand the hot tub directions that are posted and our reasons for this method. The hot tub is to be drained daily after use. This takes care of several issues that are caused by indoor hot tubs. An indoor hot tub left full of water creates unwanted humidity inside the cabin. Hot tubs are set up to circulate every so often when the water is present so that creates unwanted noise. That is what you were hearing at night. In addition, when heated water is left in a hot tub, you must add unwanted chemicals . These chemicals are difficult to regulate in order to maintain a safe atmosphere for soaking. These chemicals are offensive to smell and they are magnified by the heat of the water. Draining daily is the only way we can avoid these side effects of the chemical, heat and moisture they create. I am sorry for any confusion and I do hope you will return to us in the future. We appreciate your business.

My love for nature can be shared with others by hosting their visit to this beautiful area and furnish them with a beautiful accommodation that will help them fall in love with the Great Smoky Mountains and all it has to offer.
