Loved our stay. The cabin had all the little details that make staying away from home convenient. Plenty of charging outlets, white noise machine as well as a box fan for peaceful sleep. Excellent communication with the host. Would recommend and stay here again for sure.
Our host was amazing at responding and it was the perfect stay for us two. We also had a couple more people over for a little to play board games and they loved it as well. Very nice and cozy! Highly recommend.
Oh my goodness the Rosewood is fantastic! Cozy, clean, quiet, and everything you need for a mountain retreat. Well stocked kitchen, everything you would need to fix your own meals. The jet tub is HUGE and lovely, the bed is comfy. (Stairs to the loft are narrow and may be an issue if you have mobility issues just fyi) It's a great combo of cozy cabin with all the comforts of modern life. The porch is lovely- we sat out there in the evening after hiking and watched the wild rabbits play, and listened to Elk calls- seriously a little slice of natural wonderland! Very close to the Great Smoky Mountain entrance and lots of close places for food and coffee, etc. Nicole was very responsive and we actually were able to extend our stay a day which was wonderful. I'm already looking at coming back in the fall.
We had a wonderful stay here! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean and cute! In a great location close to restaurants and great hiking trails!

We love hearing that the cabin was clean, cute, and in a great location for you!
Everything was great. Bedroom upstairs, bathroom down stairs a little inconvenient. I will pay more close attention to cabin details. Very clean, host was excellent with communications.
We traveled from Michigan to stay at this lovely cabin with our two older dogs. We got stuck with rainy weather for most of our time here, but the relaxing setting, birds chirping, and beautiful view from the back porch made a perfect getaway.
We stayed here for a few days on a hiking trip. This place made the perfect little house to retreat to, and the hot tub was much welcome after long days of hiking up steep mountain trails. The coffee pods were a nice added touch!

About the host
Hosted by Nicole Schroeder
We are the Schroeder family and we have been traveling full-time since September of 2017. We started out traveling exclusively in our rv, but fell in love with short term rentals when we explored Europe in 2019. We have been to all 50 states and over 10 countries as we seek to learn more about the diversity that makes each place unique and special. This cabin is a family passion. We are teaching our children about construction, basic repairs, budgeting, hospitality, compassion, and loving others well. They are involved in this property and we hope that they will grow to love hosting as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We have cabins in the hustle and bustle of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and we decided that we wanted a place to enjoy the Peaceful Side of the Smokys as well. We fell in love with this property for the views and the feeling of relaxation we have when we're here. This is a place that one can truly unwind and enjoy the nature that makes the Smoky Mountains great.
What makes this property unique
This property actually has two small cabins and a house. Perfect for families to rent and have their own space yet still hang out together and make precious memories. If you are interested in renting out the entire property, send us an inquiry and we'll make sure to find you a date where everything is open.
