Beach Paradise

Our family had a wonderful beach vacation. This condo is lovely and has wonderful views of the beach and the sound. My only complaint is that the mattresses are VERY firm. That being said, we would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

This property is beautiful and the owner/manager is very responsive and friendly. We have stayed in this building before in other units and we loved this unit! One suggestion I had was having some basic cleaning supplies provided in the unit (many rentals provide this) to help maintain the property. I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived promptly at my suggestion. I think this would be a great long term addition, along with some basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, aluminum foil, a few spare garbage bags, a few laundry pods - especially since check out process asks for laundry to be started, a spare roll of toilet paper, etc). I do realize this adds some expense, but it also provides service to the renters and this is a higher end rental that undoubtedly appeals for repeat business! The responsiveness of the owner to meet our needs and the location and upkeep of the unit definitely make this a great value. I also really appreciated the beach service that came with the rental (this was a great added bonus)! Thanks so much for allowing us to use your rental!

Very nice property and views

The views are fantastic and the property is very nice. The only areas for improvement were we didn't receive any parking passes, but it was a slow season and it wasn't a problem, and there was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels. While it may be common practice for VRBO locations to pay provide one, it would be not only reasonable, but also nice if the property actually provided enough for the entire stay. For less than $2.00 they could have covered the expense instead of us having to drive to a store and spend well over that in gas time and purchase price. When renting a place for thousands of dollars, a little detail like this would go a long way. Even if they wanted to charge us the price of the toilet paper and paper towels (which they should be getting in bulk anyway), it would have saved us the time, gas, and money to buy them. Guest are there on vacation. Spending time buying essentials that should be provided takes away from vacation time.

Joe, thank you for the review. You seem to be hung up on toilet paper. We do supply starter rolls for each restroom as well as a roll of paper towels. Normally, when a guest goes to the grocery upon arrival ,they purchase toilet paper along with groceries. This would not have caused you an extra trip across the bridge if you would have thrown a bundle of toilet paper in your buggy along with your groceries, as 99 % of guest do,.We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this doesn’t ruin the remainder of 2022 for you. We would have gladly brought you more if you would have requested. Everyone does not use the same brand so we leave the choice up to the guest.

Unit as described

The place was what I expected from the pictures. Check in was easy, plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked with the exceptions of forks. Tons of spoons just not a lot of forks. Coffee maker and keurig. Stacked washer and dryer in the kitchen area was useful. Bedroom with the 2 double beds was on the firm side. My few negatives…. The place was clean except for the kitchen cabinets which looked liked they hadn’t been wiped down in some time and felt a little sticky. I would give the building a 3 at best. The pool, jacuzzi, and small sitting pool were nice and clean but there were very few chairs around the pool to use. Having 2 beach chairs and use of kayak included was nice and a selling point for us. We added another set of chairs for $50 each day. I was led to believe by management prior to booking that it would be easy to have our chairs on the front row. However this was not the case. We went down early (7am) in the morning the first 2 days to request first row only to be told they were already reserved. We were able to get 1st row on the 3rd day but probably only because of the $20 tip I gave the guy setting up. Had I known it would be difficult to get front row I may have gone somewhere else. We had young children with us that wanted to be in the ocean and had to be watched. Not possible from second row. The beach was extremely crowded. Crowded beaches isn’t my thing so probably wouldn’t go back. My rating is based on the unit only and not the surrounding factors.

The couch was peeling and 2 of the recliners were old yet fairly comfortable. The worst thing was the extra, extra firm beds. Could not sleep well. Way too hard. The kitchen appliances were nice and everything worked well, that was the plus side. Would not go back because of the beds!!

Perfect vacation

A group of 10 friends from across the country met up in Navarre, a place none of us had ever been. The condo was perfect for our needs. We loved the spaciousness, the well-appointed kitchen, and the floor-to-ceiling windows. We spent plenty of time on both balconies. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the beach service that provided umbrellas and chairs. Highly recommend!

We have stayed in this condo unit #1701 a couple of times. We love this unit. It is definitely our favorite. It is well decorated, bedding is comfortable, it has all the utensils We need for family meals, and it has a perfect view from both balconies.

This was our first time staying in this unit, we have stayed in a different one in the same building. The view from the 17th floor was WONDERFUL! Condo is very comfortable, kitchen is well stoked, and the dryer was nice to dry out beach towels. We will definitely come again.

Nothing short of perfection

1st half of the trip was a girls trip and it accommodated us all quite comfortably!! The views were superb. Much bigger and more beautiful that the pictures capture and pictures are breathtaking!!! We rented scooters from Sage’s Paddle Board Co and rode to Pensacola for lunch and shopping, we drove to Destin for dinner at the boardwalk, and enjoyed the pristine beach. My husband came down the last half of the week and we got plenty of R & R. Navarre is our sweet spot. Cannot wait to rent again for our family and our new annual girls trip. PS. They are stocked with 2 beach chairs, a cooler, a couple of umbrellas, sand toys, a beach bag, and much much more. My only negative that was a hard pass were the pillows. I usually always bring my own and didn’t. I’m also very picky. There were not enough dishwasher pods, paper towels, no laundry detergent and no bath soap. This is just an FYI so you know to bring some. We did a WalMart pick up for groceries. That was nice. Our order was ready as we were arriving in Navarre. We headed straight there. They loaded the groceries on my lap and filled in where there was room 😂😂. Everything you need is right there. Just Relax, Unwind, and Have A Good Time!!!! Our new favorite Condo! Sherry Cossey
