Overall the “Dynamite View” property was outstanding. Pictures and descriptions were very accurate, communication with the host was a solid 10. We especially loved how easy it was to go for a long morning walk through neighborhoods and across the river to a beautiful park. Location was great with easy access to both Spokane and CDA. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was very open and great for a large group to be together. But I think the best part is the private dock! My family is already talking about wanting to rent this property again!
Home worked well for us plenty room for all 8 of us plus extra room to have couple friends over for evening dinner and socializing. Very important for us to have great dock and this one was perfect. Lots of room to park even enough ro to park the boat trailer. Owner was great we got quick reply to any questions.

We were so excited to stay on the Spokane river. Driving into the property, the yard was filled with weeds and dried out dead plants. Similar to the feeling of the inside of the house, the rental was old and not well cared for. The floors were worn through and the carpets had stains all over them. Half of the lights in the house had burnt out bulbs. The internet or TV was not working on day we arrived, the house was very neglected. The master bedroom was a big disappointment. It was on the 2nd floor and there was no air conditioning ducts in the room. The bedding was thin and old. There were no lamps or side tables next to the bed. The shower had black mold in the grout and the space was very old. The master closet didn't have lighting, the bulbs had also burnt out. This was not a relaxing space. The toilets plugged up several times through out the house, not something you want to deal with on your vacation. The kitchen sink sprayed water everywhere and the hot water spout did not work. The was old dated and the pots and pans were old and very worn. The downstairs was very dark and glum, and again lots of burnt out bulbs and lights that didn't work. One of the exterior doors upstiairs would not lock at night. The location of the house on the river was the best part. The river views are lovely. But the dock was old and the rubber siding for your boat was falling off and didn't protect it at all. Overall, I was very disappointed with the whole house.

This guest had it in for me the moment they arrived as she tried to cancel two days before a 9 day reservation and wanted a full refund due to wildfire smoke in the area. She was coming from an area whose AQI was worse than ours, we had no closures of any kind and it was business as usual all over town. I didn't feel a refund was justified at that point. She then tried to get a 50% refund and still utilize the reservation which I did not honor. It is not our fault she chose not to insure her reservation so she was at liberty to cancel for a refund. She agreed to the cancellation policy upon booking. She just did not like it when she decided she did not want to come. The things she listed in this review are a blatant attack and mostly lies. I did have to replace a modem to repair the internet which was done promptly and efficiently. It was down due to repower after a power outage out of our control. The lights she speaks of is also not true. The singular lamp that wasn't working was also replaced due to a faulty switch while she was there. She came to make our lives hell after she was not granted her refund wishes upon changing her mind about her vacation and this is clearly a blatant attack on us. Refer to other reviews for clarity. The dock has boat whips to moor boats away from the dock, it is not my fault if she chose not to use them...also the dock is concrete tiles and less than 5 years old and the deck is trex in great shape. I do not recommend renting to this person.
Beautiful lake home situated conveniently off the highway in Post Falls by Templins. Ample parking and deck space.
Gorgeous views of the river. Private dock / cove with deep water allowing easy boat access to the home. Picturesque and practical. We will return.
My questions were not answered in a timely manner or at all. The experience would have been better if there were some water toys available. Inflatable pool toys do not work in a river. The house was beautiful and a great location.
Phenomenal riverfront retreat — perfect for a guys' trip! This stay was phenomenal! Our group of 8 guys got together here and had the best time from start to finish. The house itself is immaculate — comfy beds in every room and large gathering areas that made it easy for all of us to hang out together. The kitchen is fully stocked, with multiple coffee pots, a nice fridge, and a great oven, so keeping everyone fed and caffeinated was a breeze. The Traeger on the deck was a huge hit for grilling, and the view of the river every morning was exactly what we were looking for.We spent our days relaxing, hanging out, and jumping straight into the river from the property. The dock is perfect for boat pickups and rides into the city, and the home's location is also an easy Uber or drive away when you want to head out.Highly recommend staying here — if anything, the photos don't even do it justice for how nice and relaxing this home truly is!
The house is wonderful. Kitchen is very well stocked. My only heads up would be, lots of stairs. Great location, view, and water. Close to bike trail also. Had a great time.
We had a fun family get away and the home was great!
We had a 10 people and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of the days down by the water and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was good!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The kitchen was well proportioned and equipped with the proper accoutrements for almost any culinary engagement.
The rest of the house was clean and relatively modern. One of the bedrooms could use a bar for hangers. Otherwise everything was terrific.
This house was lovely. Well appointed, and perfect for our Coeur D’Alene getaway for the half Ironman. Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space. Well appointed kitchen area and pantry. Very nice!!
Great place on the river to relax and or explore the lake from
Great place on the river to relax and or explore the lake from, we brought our boat and the fuel dock was right around the corner. House is gorgeous and very comfortable relaxing place to be
We had high expectations of this beautiful property from the feature photos, and found the experience of our time there to have happily surpassed those expectations. The location on the river with the decks and docks offering direct access to the water could not have been better or more fun! The house offers amazing vistas from nearly every window, with the water always in constant view, and was spotlessly clean. More towels (bath and beach) than you could ever use, and while on site, Jami was quick to answer any questions and to happily respond to any requests. It was such a relaxing and fun time for our family, we could not have been happier with our choice for a super vacation spot. Swimming in and playing on the river was so easy and so much fun. Thank you, Jami!
A few notes: the photos online show paddle boards and other water toys, and they are included in the description of the house. They were the cherry on top for the house when we decided to rent and we were looking forward to using them. Unfortunately, they were not available for our use when we were there, and renting them locally was very expensive.
Response to messages sent through the site could be better. Overall, though, a spectacular stay.
We had a great time here with family! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, and the location was great. We spent most of our time outside on the deck and on the dock. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions as well. There are a few things to note. The upstairs bedroom is very sparse, as there weren’t any nightstands, a dresser or luggage rack to place personal items. It was also hard to regulate the a/c temperature between upstairs and downstairs. The addition of a fans to help with this would be great. Overall, we’d recommend this place.
