Casita Canoncito--private suite with kitchenette
Perfect place for quiet and nature, up against the Sandia Wilderness and literally in the mountains next to Albuquerque. Slightly cooler for the altitude, our place provides a respite from the city heat, while only 10 to 30 minutes from everything in Albuquerque, and conveniently located near trails, the tram, and the balloon fiesta. Note that winter conditions may exist between January and March. Check in with me for conditions and forecast before booking.

Great views!
Nice quiet and secluded spot. Very comfortable. Easy to reach host. Be prepared for a dirt road, with some pretty severe wash outs! Take the ride slow up and enjoy the views. There are about 20 steps going up to the studio apt so don’t bring heavy luggage. At almost 7000 ft up, be prepared for an altitude change. But if you want the true New Mexico experience, along with star filled clear skies, this is a great stay! And shoot the neighbors dog come to greet you, he may grill, but he’s harmless!
