The owner was very easy to get ahold of and readily answered my questions. I had some items that I thought would make the property better and she welcomed the information. The home is comfortable and had everything I needed for an excellent stay.
I liked this property because there was a shaded backyard that I enjoyed reading in. And when I reached out to the owner, she was quick to respond to repairs that were needed. Plus it has everything one needs: washer/dryer, stove and full size frig. This location is close to Bush Park where I love to go for walks. Really liked it!
I just moved from Arizona and needed a long-term rental. This house ended up being a gem! Within walking distance of downtown, parks, etc.
This home and neighborhood was the perfect introduction to Salem and I highly recommend it!
Loved the neighborhood, Laundry facilities are in the garage, while the house was cute, I kept running into ants in the bathroom and coming out of the lock holes in the door frame. I am sure that they are taking care of it. A very cool park very, very close by which was astounding. Would definitely come back.
Adorable little cottage on a quiet street. The property was perfect for a couple who like to be close to everything, but not too close. All amenities are a short drive, same to downtown that has a lot of restaurants, shops, and a great bookstore. A BIG beautiful park that has a little bit of everything is at the end of the street. Quiet neighborhood, and a sociable orange cat that lives across the street who likes to make new friends. Also, the owner is very quick to respond to any questions you have, which is very refreshing.
Cute little house was the perfect size for a solo traveler. House is in one of Salem's historical areas from 1920’s, minimally updated with old world charm. It does have that old house smell especially in the bedroom. Marie was kind enough to provide an air filter and dehumidifier while I was there. Marie and her team also fixed and cleaned some things for me during my stay. Great response from the management team. Backyard is lovely with tall trees, sprouting flowers, song birds and squirrels.
Cozy, comfortable well-kept cottage. Great location, nice neighborhood to walk and explore. Convenient location to shopping and restaurants. Easy communication with owner and quick response. I highly recommend staying at this sweet cottage!

Thank You
Nice Accommodations for Two in Wonderful Neighborhood
My wife and I were very comfortable for a period of about 4 months in the cottage; location is outstanding in a great neighborhood near parks; property owner was very responsive to a couple of items that came up during our stay.
M daughter stayed here for 5 months. It was already set up with everything a person needs to feel like home. From a fully stocked kitchen to partial use of the garage, extra air mattress for sleepovers, washer and dryer. What more could be needed!
IT was especially helpful that the landscaping is taken care of for her - no mowing, trimming etc. And this cottage always looked pristine.
The neighbors were quiet and pleasant. And easy walking distance to the park too!
Going back to the yard … there is plenty of privacy and a patio so she choose to put some of my favorite flowers in pots and a few vegetables to grow out there.
Thanks so much!!
We enjoy sharing this vintage cottage with others. We had a change to be a guest in a similar cottage in Santa Barbara. We loved our experience having the home as our "home away from home".
