Villa Mar-Sea-ahh (spin on my first name Marcia) named by friends that feel the same as I do --- Relax at the beach!
Enjoy the white sand beach right out your ground floor patio at Villa Pappagallo in West Bay.
Ocean views from bedroom, living room and patio; just steps away from both the pool and the beach.
Nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings that are well above average; the bedroom is appointed with a queen bed set, and in the living room; a unique cabinet bed converts to a comfortable night sleep on a queen sized memory foam mattress-NOT a sofa sleeper.
Fully equipped kitchen, with gas grills on the property for those that like to cook or make a easy meal. Washer and Dryer in unit, along with internet and cable TV with DVD in the Living Room and Master Bedroom. Easy walk-in shower, with granite counters in bath and kitchen.
It is located in a quiet spot on Grand Cayman, but only about 7-10 minutes away from the action of 7 mile beach, activities, and restaurants/bars. Across the street you will find Pappagallo Restaurant for fine dining and Sunday brunch. Beach combing is an extra plus here on a secluded beach. Come and experience Villa-mar-sea-ahh! Car highly suggested.

Absolutely beautiful property and wonderful host! She very kindly gifted us a bottle of bubbly as I had mentioned we were visiting to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. Amenities were as described and in excellent condition. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The condo was pristine, very clean, and all linens comfy and tidy. I cannot recommend this host enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfectly peaceful

Loved our stay! Enjoyed the tranquility, had the pool and beach to ourselves much of the time. Close to action when wanted to be. Right across the street from a fantastic restaurant. Would stay there again.

Perfect short getaway

We had a wonderful time! Loved the property location in West Bay. Loved the sandy beachfront and chairs. Loved the nice pool. Very well stocked! Had everything and more we needed. Neighbors were extremely friendly and adopted us right away. We would highly recommend!

A Little Gem!

We loved our trip to Marcia’s villa. A beautiful and quiet location with a private beach but so easily accessible to lots of restaurants and 7MB. There is literally everything you can think of in the unit which is well maintained and in very pretty surroundings. Absolutely I will be back asap!

Amazing stay

This beach and condo are heaven! The condo is decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. The complex was so nice and quiet and not far from restaurants and activities. Snorkeling from the dock was great. Hope to return soon!

Could not have been any better

My wife and I stayed for a week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We greatly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the 7-mile beach area. We appreciated being able to take the lounge chairs to the beach by the condo and relax by the water and hear nothing but the waves. The pool was also nice for a quick dip to cool off as well. Marcia was a very responsive and gracious host whose hospitality helped to make our trip special and memorable.

Pappagallo Paradise in Grand Cayman

Our stay at Pappagallo was wonderful. The unit was in great condition, clean and well equipped for all of our needs. We were immediately comfortable there and slid into maximum relaxation quite easily. Communication was great, a personal touch with Marcia and Joelle (on site) was a bonus. We felt safe, the location of the unit was better than advertised, and the Pappagallo complex lends itself to quiet relaxation and comfort yet access via car to island attractions was easy. We recommend!

PARADISE to the MAX

There were 2 of us girls and stayed for a glorious week in this Villa. Marcia is wonderful and communicative with any questions we had which weren’t many. George, the Property Manager is amazing!! The pool and the grounds ~ immaculate. I ran the beach every morning and hardly saw a soul on this end of the island. And… Ristorante Pappagallo is right across the road which is Fabulous!!!! Thank you Marcia!!!!

Great place to stay on GC!

We had a great time! The place was exceptionally clean and in good repair. We would recommend this place to stay if you are comfortable driving on the island, want to be close to the ocean and like a place that’s quiet and relaxing. Neither the pool nor the beach were ever crowded the entire week we stayed. Joelle gave us several great restaurant recommendations! One great part about this location is that you can watch the sunrise and sunset over the water. Absolutely beautiful! We drove a couple of days to 7 mile beach and parked our beach chairs and umbrella (provided by the unit) at the Governor’s Beach location. It was nice to walk 7 mile beach during the day and then drive back to the piece and quiet of this Vrbo property in West Bay afterwards. We made use of the gas grills on the property to cook out one night. Marcia was a great host who answered all of our questions prior to our trip so we knew what we needed to bring/buy and what she provided at the unit for us. Thanks again to Marcia and Joelle!

Lovely Condo with Beautiful Views

Some wonderful things about this property were the beautiful views of the ocean, beach, and pool. The condo was clean and comfy with many amenities for in house cooking and dining. There is a very nice fine dining restaurant right across the street you can walk to.(Ristorante Papagallo) The only negative thing was that it was excessively windy at this location when it wasn't as windy elsewhere. This may have been seasonal, I'm not sure. But, the wind was so strong here that we really couldn't use the pool, it actually felt too chilly with the wind blowing. Again, this may be a seasonal issue. We were there the first week of December. Also, I would advise using GPS to get from this property to other areas on the island (such as 7 Mile Beach or Rum Point) as this property is in a remote location (which is nice) but we got lost a couple of times getting to other spots from this location. Get your directions on your phone with the wifi and then they will continue to work even once you leave the wifi and even if you haven't chosen to pay for a travel pass (Verizon) or if you don't have service in a foreign country. We had a great time overall and would love to come back again someday.

A Peaceful Tropical Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Marcia's Pappagallo Beach Villa. We liked that it was quiet and there weren't a lot of people. The grounds of the Villas were pretty and we loved the feel and look of Marcia's condo. It was a comfortable place to enjoy a leisurely coffee in the morning while watching the ocean and as well a pleasant, well-furnished place to relax at the end of a day full of many adventures. We also enjoyed our meal at Pappagallo's Restaurant directly across the street. It was convenient and the service was one of the best we experienced on the island. Thank you, Marcia, for letting us stay at your lovely condo. You were always so responsive and showed care, concern and ideas about our stay when you knew there would be several holidays and limited hours for certain businesses. Thank you also for the Czech Inn restaurant recommendation. My husband loved the fish sandwich and he talked about it a lot throughout the trip! We loved the relaxed island style vibe. We felt safe and secure at Villas Pappagallo and we would recommend others stay at this location as well, especially if they are looking for a quiet, less busy place to stay on Grand Cayman.

PERFECT island paradise

Absolutely beautiful condo in a quiet, secluded area. Honestly, this condo is perfect in every way. Marcia is the BEST host - she responds to every question and makes sure check-in (and check-out) is so smooth and stress free. She allowed us to check-in three hours early. She is beyond accommodating. Also, Joelle, the manager is amazing. He greets you at arrival and shares some island secrets. He offers to help with anything you may need while there. You will feel right at home instantly. The kitchen is perfect and VERY well equipped and the bathroom is so pretty. The shower is beautiful. The views from the living area and the bedroom look out to the ocean. When you get there and see it for yourself, it will take your breath away. The condo itself is spotless, but so is the property. The landscape is absolutely beautiful and the pool is wonderful. We toured the entire island and snorkeled everywhere. 7 Mile Beach is stunning (Cemetery was our favorite), Rum Point is so fun, and Eden Rock is the best snorkeling. But at the end of each day, we couldn’t wait to get back to Marcia’s condo where we mostly had the beach to ourselves. I can’t say enough about our stay. It was perfect. The main takeaways for us - Marcia is wonderful, the condo has everything you need and is spotless, the area is quiet and more secluded with Barker’s next to you, the views are STUNNING, Foster’s is only a 5 min drive, the snorkeling out your door is great, and the location is ideal. Thank you Marcia!

Beautiful setting and nice accommodations

This place was pretty much as expected, a beautiful setting, a lovely condo, and the complex offered good accommodations. We were on Seven Mile Beach part of the time and preferred it here. It was more peaceful, yet had nearby activity when you sought it out. The restaurant meals for dinner times were exceptional! You will want a car, but traffic is usually light, and the other drivers are courteous. If you don’t know traffic circles at intersections, you may want to “YouTube “ on it, and remember you drive on the left here. We would have rated this rental a five star but for a few things. First, if we are in front of a t.v., we’re probably streaming something. There’s no Netflix, YouTube, Prime or similar here. Second, the bed in the bedroom, the only one used, was not firm enough for our liking. We’re both 60, and after three nights we both had sore backs that had begun after night two. Lastly, and not so important to us, but the hot tub was not hot, nor did the water jets work, rendering it useless. We will mention, since a hot area for it, we did not find the snorkeling off this beach very good, and we felt we did try (twice). There are plenty of good snorkeling spots in the area though. We would recommend wearing vests off Villa Pappagallo’s beach as the currents can be pretty strong.

Paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay here & did NOT want to leave! Everything was exactly as described. The place was very clean & very comfortable. We slept so good on the mattress in the bedroom & the linens were amazingly comfortable. (I need to figure out where she purchased them, lol) I'm so glad we chose West Bay because we didn't want to be near the hustle & bustle of everything. But if you want to be, it's just a short drive away (we rented a car). The beach & water is gorgeous. While you can't exactly walk out into the water from the beach (because of the seaweed), you can go to the end of the pier to get in. My husband snorkeled & said it was great. He saw a nurse shark, tons of fish, eel, etc. I saw a stingray. It was so great! Marcia had everything stocked that you may need. We were so grateful for this. Didn't have to buy the essentials like TP, soap, etc. She is very thoughtful, it was all provided. Basically all we had to buy were groceries. We were also happy about the water pitcher. It saved us from buying large packs of water. There are plenty of beach accessories as well. Towels, coolers, etc. One thing to keep in mind - that we didn't realize is that if you are flying in on a Sunday, grocery stores are closed. So we had to find a place to eat (PD's was great!) & then head back out Monday morning for the very much needed coffee! Also, we had a meet & greet with Joelle who is very knowledgeable about the island - where to go & what to eat. He is super friendly & easy to contact. We never had any issues during our stay at unit 21. It was incredibly peaceful & very difficult to leave. Marcia even left us a sweet gift upon arrival, which was so nice! You can see the water from the living room/patio & the bedroom/patio. One thing to keep in mind is that the sun is behind you all day. I found myself turning my chair around (not facing the ocean) to sunbath. That really wasn't a big deal to me tho. The water is so stunning. When our flight departed the following week, I could see Villa Pappagallo from the air. One of the best vacations we've had!

Peaceful Paradise

I’ve been visiting Grand Cayman for over a decade and this property was ideal for me- not too difficult to get to work. Close to the bird sanctuary that has a nice 7km loop and shorter options for runs. White sand beach with little foot traffic. Decent snorkeling not too far a walk up the beach.Check in was clear along with detailed check-out instructions.I’m looking forward the my next stay!

Chill. Beach was nice. Very little seaweed. No one around which made it enjoyable to unwind. Condo was clean, comfortable, with plenty of beach amenities to use. PM was very kind and responsive.

Outstanding Room on the water at West Bay in Cayman

The property owner is absolutely the best I have ever worked with. Very responsive and provided everything we asked for. The place is perfect for a beach island getaway! Comfortable, clean, and right on the water. Access is easy, parking is easy and everything you needed was there for us. The location was fantastic; had the whole beach to ourselves with a beautiful pool outside our bedroom door next to the beach and ocean. There was even an smallPeer out to the ocean to walk on and take in the sunset. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for the perfect place and owner to work with.
